Epic Universe is opening in 2025, and we are READY.
This new Universal Orlando theme park will feature five new lands — Celestial Park, Dark Universe, Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and How To Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk. There will be new shops, new restaurants, new rides, new entertainment, and SO MUCH MORE. Universal just announced that this brand-new park is officially opening on May 22nd, 2025, and now we have more details for purchasing tickets!
Earlier this year, it was announced that those buying tickets through Universal Orlando’s sales partners will only be able to access Epic Universe by purchasing a multi-day Universal Orlando ticket package with a three-day minimum. Vice President of Public Relations Alyson Sologaistoa of Universal had previously stated that Universal is “introducing products in a phased approach starting with multi-day ticket packages that include an opportunity to visit Epic Universe in addition to the entire Universal Orlando Resort for those planning vacations further out.”
Sologaistoa continued, “We plan to offer a range of ticket products to help manage the expected demand for Epic Universe and to ensure all guests visiting have a great experience at this groundbreaking park.” And now, as of October 17th, we know what those ticket offerings will be and WHEN we’ll be able to purchase them!
- A variety of multi-day tickets and vacation packages that include three, four or five days of admission to Universal’s theme parks – including one day admission to Epic Universe. These products will go on sale on Tuesday, October 22.
- Reservations for Universal Helios Grand Hotel will open on Tuesday, October 22 for stays beginning May 22, 2025.
- Annual Passholders have the exclusive opportunity to purchase single-day tickets to Universal Epic Universe before they go on sale to the general public. Passholders can take advantage of this priority opportunity beginning Thursday, October 24.
Tickets for Epic Universe will officially go on sale on October 22nd, 2024! That is coming up SOON! The ticket options that will be available when they are first released are as follows:
- 3-Day Ticket: enjoy two days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe
- 4-Day Ticket: enjoy three days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe
- 5-Day Ticket: enjoy four days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe
Not only that, but there will be Create Your Own Vacation Packages! Guests can receive the maximum savings of $200 with a 7-night vacation package that includes:
- a 5-day ticket that includes four days of access to Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay, plus a separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe
- 7-night hotel accommodations at one of Universal Orlando’s 11 magnificently themed resorts
Early Park Admission for Universal Epic Universe, Universal Volcano Bay and either Universal Studios Florida or Universal Islands of Adventure up to one hour before the park opens
As of now, ticket prices have not yet been released but we’ll let you know once Universal officially announces them. The tickets will get you access to all the new attractions, restaurants, shops, and more at each of the five lands in the new park. This park will be a huge draw for movie fans, Super Nintendo fans, horror fans, and more. There will be something for everyone to enjoy once it is officially open!

So – Epic Universal isn’t included for passholders?

I’ve been given conflicting information from Universal people. That being, 1) as you have described in the article and 2) if you are staying for a longer period of time you can conceivably buy multiple 3 or 4 day passes so you could go to Epic more than once during an extended vacation. I’m hoping the later is true because it’s going to stop people from booking a longer trip if they can only go to Epic once. Why would anyone spend the money for 6 or 7 night’s accommodations to only see Epic once? That doesn’t make financial sense on Universal’s part.
