Disney World’s wait times weren’t quite what you might expect this week. Spooky season is in full force, but you know what wasn’t too scary? This week’s Disney World wait times!

Magic Kingdom Wait Times
Wait times at Magic Kingdom didn’t change too drastically this week compared to last — TRON Lightcycle/Run was still the ride with the highest average wait time at 57 minutes. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was the next longest average wait at 50 minutes — slightly higher than last week. Take a look at the rest of the Magic Kingdom average waits this week below!

EPCOT Wait Times
The wait times in EPCOT also increased this week. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure increased by an average of 10 minutes, and Frozen Ever After increased by an average of eight minutes. With cooler weather rolling into Disney World this weekend, it’s possible wait times will continue to climb. Check out the rest of EPCOT’s average wait times from this week below.

Test Track, Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week.

Animal Kingdom Wait Times
Animal Kingdom’s Flight of Passage was — surprise, surprise — the ride with the longest average wait time this week, increasing by a whopping 17 minutes on average. Na’vi River Journey followed not too far behind at 42 minutes on average. You can see the remaining Animal Kingdom average wait times below.

Hollywood Studios Wait Times
Hollywood Studios‘ Slinky Dog Dash won the race for highest average wait yet again this week, coming in at a whopping 70 minutes on average making it the highest overall across all parks this week. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance was the second-highest wait at 60 minutes on average. See the rest of the Hollywood Studios’ average ride wait times below.

Besides it being HalloweenTime at the parks and it been busier during this time, I’m sure it has to do with Genie+. A lot of people plan and budget a DW visit/vacation, being that Genie+ is an additional cost per person, it’s not in their budget, or they think it is not worth it. So many guest end up waiting in line. It’s simple, the more people in line, the longer the wait times.
In my opinion, they should have never replaced FastPass, it worked fine and everyone was happy. But since it didn’t make money for Disney, they came up with Genie+ to make even more money off of some visiting guest.
