We’ve been eating our way through Disney World and this time we’re making our way to Hollywood Studios to enjoy a nice lunch!
With so many options available at Hollywood Studios, we decided to head over to a true classic: Rosie’s All-American Cafe to ask the question, does this popular quick service still hold up?
Atmosphere
Rosie’s All-American Cafe is located on Sunset Boulevard, right by The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. It’s a quick service spot offering theme park classics such as cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets, fries, and more!
Rosie’s offers a spacious, outdoor shaded area full of dining tables and chairs as it’s part of Sunset Ranch Market along with the other quick service spots nearby.
With so many tables available in the area, you’re bound to find a spot to sit and enjoy your meal.
Menu
Rosie’s All American Cafe opens at 10 am and has a singular menu for both lunch and dinner. The menu is full of American classics like hot dogs and chili cheese fries.
Along with fountain drinks, there are specialty drinks, alcoholic beverages, and Joffrey’s coffee available here as well. Rosie’s All American Cafe also offers mobile order through the My Disney Experience App.
Eats
While scouring the menu, we decided to get a mix of both old classics and new items, such as the 1/3 lb Angus Cheeseburger, Rosie’s All American Salad, the Strawberry Lemonade Slushy, and the all-new Buffalo Fries.
Starting out with a true classic, the 1/3 lb Angus Bacon Cheeseburger is available for $13.99. This is a 1/3 lb chargrilled Angus cheeseburger topped with bacon, lettuce, and tomato. This is served with a side of fries and for an extra $2 you can upgrade to the all-new Buffalo Fries — which is exactly what we did.)
All in all, this was your average Disney World cheeseburger. It’s the same style that you can find at several quick service spots around the parks, however, we did enjoy how crisp and fresh the lettuce and tomato were, and the bacon was very savory.
And, as we mentioned, we got the Buffalo Fries as our side. These are also available separately for $6.49. Bufflo Fries are ranch-seasoned fries drizzled with buffalo-ranch sauce and blue cheese dressing. The fries were perfectly crispy and there was plenty of the buffalo ranch sauce to make sure each fry could get a nice topping of it.
The buffalo sauce was very flavorful, but not as spicy as typical buffalo sauce. If you enjoy buffalo sauce simply for its flavor, then you’ll enjoy these. Unfortunately, however, we could not taste the blue cheese dressing. Still, they were very enjoyable to munch on.
And to add a little fresh greens to the mix, we had Rosie’s All American Salad for $11.99. The salad features mojo pulled pork, romaine lettuce, roasted sweet potatoes, crispy tajin tortilla strips, pomegranate pickled radish, queso fresco, and pumpkin seeds drizzled with a tangy and spicy ancho-ranch dressing. The mojo pulled pork tasted incredible in quality and was perfectly citrusy.
The dressing was deliciously tangy with a nice kick to it and we loved how fresh the greens were. Although we did not see or taste any queso fresco in our bowl, we did enjoy how all the ingredients worked together to make something tasty and unique. We also loved how the pickled radishes added a refreshing sweetness to it all.
And last but not least, we finished our meal off with the Strawberry Lemonade Slushy for $6.49. This slushy features Minute Maid® Premium Lemonade and it was deliciously refreshing! It had a nice combination of the sweetness from the strawberry and the tartness from the lemonade. It was the perfect chilled drink to cool us down from the heat.
Although it did melt rather quickly, we still enjoyed it because it tasted like a well-made strawberry lemonade.
Overall
We did enjoy our time at Rosie’s All-American Cafe and liked how quick and comforting the meals were. Our only complaint is that there is only outdoor seating and despite the shade, it still gets VERY hot and can feel a little overwhelming when the heat is too much.
Nosh or Not?
Head over to Rosie’s All-American Cafe if…
- You want to enjoy a quick and budget-friendly meal. Most of the items on Rosie’s menu are under $15 and most of the entrees are accompanied by a side.
- You want something familiar and comforting. If you’re looking for traditional American food, look no further than good ‘ol Rosie’s
- You want to enjoy a quick bite while waiting for an attraction. Rosie’s is located in Sunset Boulevard right near Tower Of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. So if your group wants to hit up any of those thrill rides and you aren’t feeling it, it’s the perfect place to sit and wait and enjoy a nice snack while you’re at it.
Rosie’s All-American Cafe may not be for you if…
- You’re looking for a breakfast spot. Rosie’s only serves typical lunch and dinner meals a hour after park opens.
- You want a unique meal. If cheeseburgers and hot dogs aren’t what you’re hoping for during your trip, then you won’t be singing Rosie’s praises like we are.
- You want to step away from the sun. As we mentioned, there are umbrellas and shaded areas in Sunset Ranch Market, but that won’t feel like much on a very hot day.

Very good review, Angie. Thank you. This may be a question for AJ, is there any place in WDW to get a “beef on weck?”
AJ will know what that is, if you are not sure.

Not much of a destination. Just a typical over priced Disney eatery. The reference to Rosie means nothing. Could have done a better job. Been a walk by since it opened.
