It’s the holiday season at Disneyland Resort and that means it is time for the 2024 Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays!
The holidays have been making their way to Disneyland with snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle and tons of festive merchandise, but now it’s officially time for the Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure! For one price of $63, the Sip and Savor Pass consists of a commemorative credential, lanyard, and 8 coupons, which can be redeemed at the Festive Foods Marketplaces for one food item or non-alcoholic beverage each. In 2024, a second option was added — you may choose either a four-coupon or eight-coupon version!
This pass is available for $32 (for four vouchers) or $63 (for eight vouchers). If you have a Magic Key Pass, you can get eight vouchers for $58 this year. Not bad, eh?
Special Entertainment
There are a variety of entertainment offerings at the Festival of Holidays celebrating Christmas, Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day. Music and festivities can be enjoyed at Palisades Stage and Sonoma Terrace, and the celebration extended to Hollywood Backlot for the first time in 2023.
Mickey’s Happy Holidays is a high-energy character celebration! During the celebration, guests are invited to dance along to merry holiday music with Mickey Mouse and pals!
The Holiday Toy Drummers are always a highlight of Mickey’s Happy Holidays, too.
The Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party joins the celebration on Saturdays and Sundays from November 16th through January 5th.
Disney ¡Viva Navidad! gives guests the chance to enjoy a street party featuring Mexican folklórico dancers and Mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets, and Mickey, Minnie and friends in their fiesta best!
“Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” is hosted by The Three Caballeros, and Encanto’s Mirabel and more Disney pals will also make appearances this year! Enjoy the celebration at Paradise Gardens Park.
NEW in 2024 is an Encanto-themed show called “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Seasons,” presented Mondays through Fridays outside the entrance to Paradise Gardens Park. Mirabel is joined by her friends to enjoy the spirit of the holidays during their very own Fiesta de Navidad celebration! The show includes some of your favorite songs from Encanto.
A new Coco-themed show is coming to the festival, too! “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel” will be performed on weekday evenings on Buena Vista Street. This nighttime show “gathers friends and families to listen to heartfelt stories and timeless songs in an enchanting celebration of the holidays.” The bilingual show includes a special appearance by Miguel for a rendition of “Silent Night.”
This year’s festival will also include MORE musical acts, including some returning performers as well as new performers! According to Disney: “The live entertainment across Disney California Adventure displays an extensive range of genres, including mariachi, jazz, klezmer, Latin pop, fusion, reggae, polka and more. Several new live bands and cultural performance groups will perform at the festival, such as Joy, Rangoli Rhythms, Malaya Filipino American Dance Arts, Keali’I O Nālani & Daniel Ho, and more! You can also enjoy a season of celebrations with many returning favorites, including Blue13 Dance Company and The Mistletoes!”
You can also enjoy “holiday rhythms” as Disney characters march to the beat of festive music during the “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” cavalcade! Don’t forget to grab a Festival Entertainment Guide and check the Disneyland App so you can be in the know with the lineup during your visit!
Merchandise
There’s some specialty merchandise at the Festival of Holidays, too! You can shop a variety of holiday merchandise including a Loungefly, mug, ears, and apparel.

Norma says
We love all the festivals at Epcot and it makes sense that Festival of the Holidays is only a short time, though disturbing that Wdw suddenly stops it the day before New Year’s Eve when the Twelfth Day of Christmas (Epiphany) is January 6th! Seems like they could let us enjoy the holidays one more week!
My question is: Why are Food & Wine and Flower & Garden about three months each but Festival of the Arts 2025 is only five weeks?! It’s one of our faves yet we feel pushed to enjoy it when Food & Wine seems to drag on forever!? Why isn’t Festival of the Arts at least as long as the other two? There are enough months in the year for each of them to be three months each while Holidays could extend back to include Halloween in October!
