We are tuned into Disney’s fourth-quarter earnings call!
Disney released their fourth-quarter earnings report this morning, followed by an earnings call to discuss the report. We are bringing you all the latest news and we may have just got a HUGE hint on when Disney World will be crowded next year.Â
When speaking about the Disney’s parks and experiences, they noted that bookings in the back half of 2025 are looking positive. This could be a hint that this is when Disney is currently expecting the MOST crowds in the parks next year.Â
The holiday season is notoriously one of the most crowded times at the Disney parks and it is looking like that trend will follow suit next year. However, based on this comment, it is sounding like they are expecting increased crowds for the second half of the year.
While it is unlikely that the first half of the year will bring no crowds to the parks, if you are planning a trip for next year, it seems like the first half of the year may see slightly less crowds overall.Â
Disney also noted that they will likely see a decrease in income during the first quarter of 2025 due to expenses from Hurricane Milton and the expenses associated with the launch of the Disney Treasure.
We are listening in to this morning’s earnings call and we will have ALL the biggest news for you right here at DFB. So, make sure to stay tuned for all of your Disney news!

We’ve got a trip planned when it’s hotter than the surface of the sun there hoping that the crowds will be slightly less than when it’s not so hot. Also some schools have already started back up during that time period so hopefully that means fewer crowds overall. More pool time on these trips as well!

The second half of the year the parks will be empty because of Universals opening.

This isn’t difficult to understand. Firstly crowd tracking using wait time algorithms is showing a diminishing level of interest in WDW that’s bound to carry over into the new year. But Epic Universe opens around Memorial Day. Since Universal only offers one day in the new park with their available packages, Disney would logically expect to get some overflow not unlike Universal used to enjoy when vacationers were anchoring at WDW.
