One of Disney World’s most recently opened restaurants is bringing a festive feel for the holidays!
The holiday season has arrived in Disney World, and we’re big fans of hunting down all of the holiday happenings going on inside AND outside of the parks. If you find yourself in search of another Christmasy thing to do after visiting the gingerbread displays and treats at Disney World hotels, getting your jolly on at Disney World’s after hours parties, and scoping out all of the decorated Christmas trees at Disney Springs, there’s one more stop we’re begging you to make on your holiday tour.
One of Disney World’s newest restaurants quickly won us over with its fantastical theming, and clean hues of white, blush pink, and gold. The Cake Bake Shop has recently rose high in our ranks for quality of food at Disney World but its attention to detail is what initially drew us in.
The restaurant’s commanding presence at the end of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort was a welcomed site to take in when it opened this past fall, and we instantly fell in love with its decorative touches with Fall leaves and tiny pumpkins.
But, as in true Disney World fashion, we noticed even MORE change to the beautiful restaurant ushered in with the rest of the Christmas decor to its home hotel. As you approach The Cake Bake Shop restaurant, you’ll notice a tiny letter box where you can drop off your letter to Santa while visiting.
As you step through the restaurant’s threshold you’re immediately greeted by a flocked Christmas tree near the main host stand…
…and as you’re walked through the dining room you’ll encounter glistening light fixtures…
…a turning scenic landscape over the main dining room’s crown that will rotate to reveal a few deer…
…bears…
…and SANTA overhead!
In the same room, you’ll also spot a white bear and its cub which will move if you keep your eye on them long enough…
…as well as a few other Christmas trees.
More themed holiday decor will be found by the bar…
…the Champagne Room…
…the Garden View Room…
…and the elegant Lavender Room.
We love how the theming runs through the entire restaurant and flows through each of the dining rooms keeping them connected yet with a little of their own unique personality to offer.
We’re always talking about what’s new, what’s changed, and what you need to know about for your next Disney World vacation. Be sure you’re following along with us at Disney Food Blog for all the latest!
