Disney World’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass may still be new, but it’s already proven to be incredibly popular.
The new skip-the-line service allows each guest who purchases it one one-time entry to each Lightning Lane experience in the selected theme park — but at a pretty hefty price. Still, that hasn’t stopped folks from selling the service out in some parks over the week of Thanksgiving — and on Monday, Lightning Lane Premier Pass sold out in every single Disney World park.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass is officially sold out in all Disney World parks today, November 25th, 2024. Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios had previously sold out last week, but now the service is unavailable in all parks today.
According to the Walt Disney World app, Lightning Lane Premier Passes are SOLD OUT on the following days:
- Magic Kingdom: November 23rd, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: November 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th
- EPCOT: November 25th
- Animal Kingdom: November 25th
Lightning Lane Premier Pass prices vary based on date and park, but the prices for these sold-out passes range from $309 to $449 per person, with Magic Kingdom reaching $449 and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reaching $349 per person on November 28th (Thanksgiving Day).
When Lightning Lane Premier Pass first rolled out, it was a pilot program limited to those staying at Disney Deluxe Resort hotels, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and other select hotels. As of now, though, Disney has updated the rules to allow ANY Disney World hotel guest to purchase the Premier Pass.
You can NOT use the pass in multiple parks on the same day, and you can only purchase one Premier Pass per day. Disney allows you to purchase the Lightning Lane Premier Passes up to seven days before the first day of your hotel stay, for your entire length of stay (up to 14 days) starting at 7AM Eastern Time.
Thanksgiving week is typically one of the busiest times during the entire year at Disney World, and Lightning Lane Premier Pass being sold out just proves it!

I don’t believe there is a high demand for the Premier Pass. That’s why Disney opened up the sale of this pass to all its hotel. Disney doesn’t release the number of these passes that are available, so they can claim the Premier Pass is “sold out” to generate more interest. There’s a sucker born every minute.

And this is why Disney will never stop raising prices. No matter what they charge they always find people to pay it. We can complain that they’re pricing a huge amount of the population out- they don’t care. As long as profits continue to rise it makes no difference to current management that Disney’s most loyal customers can’t afford to go anymore.

Not in a bazillion years! Who ARE these people? I truly hope they are wealthy enough to be spending thousands of dollars each day for every park day!
