Frontier Airlines is rolling out the next phase of its “game-changing transformation” called The New Frontier. We think the name is pretty fitting, but what does The New Frontier have in store for passengers in 2025?

The budget airline hopes to offer more comfort, value, and rewards for travelers. Amongst other new offerings, Frontier plans to add first class seating to their planes.
We couldn’t believe it either! FIRST CLASS seats on an ultra-low-fare airline? It is not something we are used to seeing, but we are definitely curious to see how it goes for them.The new first class seats will feature “luxurious, spacious seats in the first two rows of the aircraft.” The seats are expected to be available in late 2025.

In addition to first-class seating, Frontier Airlines will implement free seat upgrades for Elite Gold members and above on every flight. That even includes a potential upgrade to the brand-new first class seating!

In mid-2025, Platinum and Diamond Elite members will also be able to fly with a companion for NO extra cost on any Frontier flight. Also in mid-2025, Frontier will launch a system to redeem FRONTIER Miles for baggage fees, seating upgrades, bundles, and other add-ons.Â
