We are setting sail on the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Treasure and we’re taking you along with us!
Disney previously gave us a sneak peek at LOTS of different spots on the ship from staterooms to restaurants to entertainment spaces and so much more during the christening event, but now we’re embarking on the Treasure’s very FIRST sailing. Come along as we share everything there is to see, do, and EAT on the Disney Treasure!
The Disney Treasure will take its Maiden Voyage with passengers on December 21, 2024, and is the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The ship celebrates “Walt Disney’s lifelong love of adventure,” and we were lucky enough to sail on the ship before it’s open to the public!
Day 1: December 9th, 2025
Embarkation
We boarded the ship from Port Canaveral on Florida’s east coast. Embarkation is easy, but you want to make sure you have all of your travel documents handy as you make your way onto the ship — you’ll need them! The earlier you check in for your cruise, the earlier you can board the ship. We found our way to the check-in area…
…and hopped in line to board! The terminal was all decked out in holiday decor which made things feel extra festive.
Once you pass through the Mickey-shaped tunnel things start to really get serious! This is also when you’ll need your boarding pass or QR code handy.
And soon enough, you’ll be on the ship!
Grand Hall
The Grand Hall on the Disney Treasure is inspired by Aladdin, which you can see in both the architecture…
…and other incredible elements in this space. Check out the Genie’s Lamp!
You’ll also notice a gorgeous statue of Aladdin and Jasmine…
…and this gorgeous chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
And, don’t forget to wave “Hello” to any characters you might see as you board the ship!
But, there’s still so much to explore here!
Skipper Society Lounge
We got a sneak peek at the Skipper Society Lounge when we previewed the ship in November, but now we’re back for a closer look! This bar is themed after the world-famous Jungle Cruise and is an homage to the skippers who are really why we keep coming back to that ride again and again.
Here, you’ll be able to imbibe in plenty of drinks — some of which come in fancy tiki mugs like this one, an actual Jungle Cruise boat…
…and light bites like waffles served in an easy-to-transport package!
We’ll be bringing you our full review of the drinks and eats at the Skipper Society Lounge later during our cruise, so make sure you keep an eye out for that!
Haunted Mansion Parlor
The BRAND-NEW Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Treasure will no doubt be a happening spot. When we toured this space previously, we couldn’t believe how much it felt like we were plopped smack dab into the middle of the iconic ride. This time is no different!
There are so many incredible touches and references to the Haunted Mansion in here, like the famous Donald Duck chair — which you can actually sit in! And, make sure you listen closely — you just might here some disembodied voices whispering behind you.
You’ll find plenty of spooky potions and libations on the menu here…
…including a SECRET MENU cocktail that comes in this incredible gargoyle cup. Unfortunately, you don’t get to keep the cup, but we can’t get over how cool this looks!
Staterooms
There are plenty of different stateroom types on the Disney Treasure including interior rooms, oceanview rooms, suites, and more. We were lucky enough to stay in a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. We’ll be bringing you a full tour of our room soon, but for now, we’re sharing some sneak peeks! There is plenty of space in here — the couch even pulls out to another bed so more people can fit in here.
Check out the mural above the bed — our room is Encanto-themed! How cool is that?!
Day 2: December 10th, 2025
Worlds of Marvel
We dined at World of Marvel! This dining location hosts visitors on two different nights. There’s the brand-new “Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix,” which follows Groot during his quest to throw the ultimate surprise party. Then, you will also return to this restaurant for “Avengers: Quantum Encounter,” featuring a LIVE appearance from Spider-Man!
Stay tuned for our full review of this restaurant.
Disney Treasure Souvenirs
Time to go shopping! We got to preview some of the NEW Disney Treasure merchandise, like this adorable pair of ears!
There’s even a new Loungefly bag…
…a mug…
…a Spirit Jersey…
…and more!
Oh, and did we mention that there is a BUNCH of new souvenir mugs? Check them out in our post below!
Sarabi — Indiana Jones Comedy Show
It’s not a Disney vacation without a little live entertainment! We headed to Sarabi to check out the Sarabi Supper Club.
First, we were treated to a short musical performance by a jazz singer. It was INCREDIBLE!
Then, Sage and Coriander took over to retell Indiana Jones’ story.
It was an entertaining evening — that’s for sure!
Ocean View Room
Here’s a peek inside an ocean-view room on the Disney Treasure!
The room features a nice big window that lets in plenty of natural light.
This room felt pretty spacious (considering you’re on a cruise ship), and we loved the modern design and Disney-inspired artwork.
1923
Looking for a cozy yet elegant dining experience with touches of Disney magic all around? Head straight to 1923!
This restaurant was first seen on the Disney Wish and was named after the year The Walt Disney Studios was founded.
We spotted TONS of sweet details around the dining room, including nods to classics like Tarzan, The Lion King, Aladdin, and more. Want a little preview of our full review? Three words: Chocolate. Lava. Cake.
Day 3: December 11th, 2025
Plaza de Coco
It’s time to take a trip to Santa Cecilia! Here, we are dining at Plaza de Coco, a Coco-themed theatrical dining experience with live music and characters, plus some AMAZING Mexican food. You will actually dine here TWICE — once as you watch Miguel and the town mariachi perform as you dine. Then, on the second night, the restaurant transforms for a Dia de los Muertos celebration with Mamá Coco, Abuelita, and the rest of the Rivera family.
We ordered a TON of food, including this Pan-seared Adobo Spiced Sea Bass. Stay tuned for our full review!
Jumbeaux’s Sweets
Time for a snack break! We headed straight to Jumbeaux’s Sweets for a little ice cream.
This place is filled with fun desserts! There is ice cream…
…gelato…
…and TONS of toppings.
If you’re looking for a pastry or other fun dessert, check out the bakery counter!
Can we take a moment to appreciate THIS beauty?
This sweets shop is adorable. It’s perfect for kids, but be prepared for a sugar rush.
