Are you ready for the 2025 runDisney races yet?! They’ll be here before you know it — including the Springtime Surprise Weekend that’s taking place in April. And, Disney just shared a first look at the medals you can earn by running in these races — let’s check them out!
The 2025 Springtime Surprise Challenge will take place from April 3-6, 2025. The 2025 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend theme is “Disney Celebrates Heroes!” And, all the medals are themed after some of our favorite heroes, too — starting with Groot for the 5K race.

Earn a Hercules medal when you complete the 10K race…

…and an Incredibles medal for the 10-miler.

If you complete all three Springtime Surprise races — a total of 19.3 miles — you can earn a special finisher medal featuring Baymax and Hiro from Big Hero 6!

Not only that, but the 2025 Springtime Surprise Weekend is when Brooks will become the official running shoe of Disney! Official race shirts will be provided by Brooks and you’ll be able to find shoes available for sale during the fitness expo.
