One of the biggest problems that Disney World quick-service restaurants face has nothing to do with the food.
No, one of the biggest issues that we hear about from our readers (and that we also often complain about) is the lack of seating. Why is it so hard to find seating at some Disney World quick-service locations? That’s the case in the parks, but it’s also the case for some restaurants in Disney Springs. Well, one Disney Springs restaurant has recently solved that problem for its visitors.
We noticed construction walls going up at Chicken Guy!, the restaurant owned by Guy Fieri in Disney Springs. We learned that the restaurant would be expanding and adding a brand-new covered seating area. There was even concept art of what the new seating area would look like on the construction walls. But we’ve been waiting for an update for MONTHS!
Well, we’ve got some great news — the construction is complete, and the new seating area is open! We wandered over to Chicken Guy! recently to check it out and were there the day the new seating area opened to visitors. You can see the new seating area in this photo.
The sign next to the new seating area is new, too!
We even saw folks using the new area, which was sorely needed. This is a popular dining spot in Disney Springs, and we expect to see it used pretty often.
Of course, we’re still mourning the loss of many of the sauces here, so we’d just like to put in a personal plea to bring all the sauces back, okay, Mr. Fieri? PLEASE? Considering those sauces were once the restaurant’s big selling point, we think it could make a LOT of folks happy, but also us…it would make us happy.
