The EPCOT International Festival of Arts is returning!
This year, the festival will run from January 17th to February 24th, 2025, and will be jam-packed with food, art, merchandise, and live entertainment offerings! The 2025 festival will feature five new “artful experiences!”
Now, the Festival of the Arts is all about celebrating art, so the festival was already no stranger to entertainment; from live chalk art to Disney Broadway performances at the America Gardens Theatre, there is so much to see and do during this festival! Let’s dive into the new announcements!
Once Upon A Stage: 30 Years of Disney on Broadway
CommuniCore Hall, EPCOT’s new festival center, you will be able to “experience the magic of Broadway both on and off the stage in this walkthrough exhibit celebrating three decades of Disney on Broadway. Discover costumes and props from your favorite stage musicals, then venture behind the scenes to see how the classic animated films “The Lion King” and “Aladdin” were reimagined for the Broadway stage.”
Opening Bites Food Studio
Right outside of CommuniCore Plaza, check out Opening Bites Food Studio, where the menu will be “all about paying homage to the foods and drinks immortalized onstage.”
New Artful Photo Ops
Get ready to strike a pose and step right into the canvas of a masterpiece with Artful Photo Ops! There will be returning favorites like the Luncheon of the Boating Party by Pierre-August Renoir and Edvard Munch’s The Scream. And new this year there will be a new Artful Photo Op “inviting you to voyage alongside our favorite seafarer featuring Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana.”
Festival Merchandise
No festival would be complete without merchandise! This year’s art-themed collection will feature a variety of pieces dedicated to everyone’s favorite dragon, Figment!
Disney on Broadway Concert Series
We are so excited that it is confirmed that the Disney on Broadway Concert Series is confirmed to make its return! There are three newcomers set to perform this year, including Jelani Remy, who has performed in his role as Simba from “The Lion King.” Rodney Ingram performed the title role of “Aladdin” on Broadway as well as John Riddle who originated the role of Hans in “Frozen.”
We can’t wait to check out the Festival of the Arts on January 17th, so make sure to continue to follow along with Disney Food Blog to stay up to date on all the latest Disney news!
