NEWS: Disney World Just Confirmed an EPCOT Attraction’s PERMANENT Status

We talk about Disney World food and rides pretty frequently, but what about the entertainment?

People miss out on many great entertainment offerings throughout the parks because they’re too busy running to the next thrill ride. From live singers and music groups to dance shows, there are plenty of fun ways to enjoy your favorite characters and stories on stage…and now there’s a new permanent entertainment offering to add to the list!

Back in the summer of 2024, CommuniCore Plaza and CommuniCore Hall opened in World Celebration at EPCOT. At that time, the first thing to premiere on the CommuniCore Plaza stage was a brand-new show called ¡Celebración Encanto!

¡Celebración Encanto!

¡Celebración Encanto! features two narrators leading you through the story of Encanto, and the show is a sing-along style with different audience participation activities in each song. At the end of the show, you even get an appearance from Mirabel and Bruno, so your kids can dance with their favorite characters!

The show was originally slated for a summer run, then it was extended for Latin American & Hispanic Heritage Month. After that, we spoke to Cast Members who worked the show, and it had been extended for a few more months as a temporary offering. But now, Disney has OFFICIALLY made ¡Celebración Encanto! a full-time entertainment option at EPCOT.

So if you’ve got an Encanto lover in your family hoping to see this show in 2025, don’t miss out! You can find showtimes in the My Disney Experience app daily to plan your visit. Keep in mind that the show is outdoors, so it may be performed weather-permitting. We’ve seen them move the show inside CommuniCore Hall in the past during rain, but this may not be as feasible during a festival when that space is taken.
