The wait is FINALLY over as these Magic Kingdom bathrooms are BACK!

We visit Disney World every day and take note of all the changes so that you’re completely informed before your next trip. We keep up with all the menu updates, ride changes, and, yes, bathroom refurbishments. Speaking of which, a major bathroom in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland just re-opened after a nearly year-long closure and we have all the details!

Back in January, we noticed the Pinocchio Village Haus restrooms were closed for refurbishment. These bathrooms, which serve both the dining location and a large section of Fantasyland, have been closed all year for extensive work. Now, we’re happy to report that they are back open to the public and better than ever!

We checked out these newly refurbished restrooms during a recent visit and we’ve gotta say, we’re pretty impressed!

Our reporter felt this bathroom upgrade was well worth it and loved the changes that were made! They feel the restrooms are now thematically in the vein of the Tangled bathrooms or the Gaston’s Tavern bathrooms, especially inside.

They also got a good utilitarian feeling that made them believe the bathrooms are easy to clean and maintain.

You’ll notice the space has been expanded as well, with more stalls now available.

Counters and stations also have new theming to match the newly decorated walls and tiles.

Speaking of the walls, they look like gray stone and are topped with blue and red tiles that form stripes. The colors really pop in here and maintain the fantasy theming.

Back on the outside, the restrooms are sporting new wood-style signs with the German labels “Herren” for men and “Damen” for women. These were previously labeled “Prince” and “Princess”.
