It’s been a HUGE year for the Disney Cruise Line.
Not only did we learn about several new ships joining the fleet, but we even got to set sail on the Disney Treasure before it made its official Maiden Voyage! It takes a lot to keep these ships running in tip-top shape and the latest sanitation report from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) proves just how well Disney does it!
The Disney Cruise Line (DCL) fleet is comprised of six world-class ships: the Disney Magic, the Disney Wonder, the Disney Dream, the Disney Fantasy, the Disney Wish, and the newest ship in the fleet: the Disney Treasure! The fleet will be joined by the Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure in 2025, too! In fact, Disney has announced the Line will expand its fleet to thirteen by the year 2031.
It takes a lot of work to keep these ships running smoothly so guests have the best experience possible, and one ship in particular just scored a perfect 100 on the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) latest Sanitation Report! Inspections happen at different times for each ship, but the most recent scores show that the Disney Wish is batting 100.
Here’s how each Disney Cruise ship scored during its latest inspection — a score above 95 is considered excellent, and a score of less than 85 is considered not satisfactory:
- Disney Dream: 99
- Disney Fantasy: 98
- Disney Magic: 96
- Disney Wish: 100
- Disney Wonder: 96
Since the Disney Treasure is so new, it’s possible the CDC has yet to run its sanitation tests to find out that score. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for it, though!

Yes, friends. Even with our kids grown up now, Disney Cruise Line is worth the premium price, considering the service, ship’s maintenance, entertainment, and food quality in main dining areas. Palo, Remy and Enchante are fantastic, but are true luxury. You don’t need to upgrade the dining options to receive a fantastic experience. Personal favorite — the one and only original Disney Magic! Countdown to our trip on the Fantasy in 2025 will begin tonight!

Amazing experience sailing on a Disney Cruise Line Ship. I’ve been fortunate to have sailed on all the ships and I don’t have any complaints. My only suggestion to DCL is that they should consider offering a drink package covering alcohol, juices, bottle water and specialty coffee and drinks.
