It’s time for a Disney World trip R.E.P.O.R.T. I’ve been to Disney World a LOT. I’ve worked in the parks (both literally as a Cast Member and physically as a remote worker). I’ve played in the parks. I’ve dined in the parks. I’ve made friends in the parks. There’s never a dull moment when you’re in Disney World!
Now that I’m back from my latest trip to Disney World, I’m here to share my experience! Even though I’ve been to Disney World more times than I can count, each trip is different, and there’s always something I would do differently. Come along and see what it’s like to have a quick trip to Disney World from the perspective of a Gen Z Disney fan!
There’s a cute little trend going around online where people share their weekly R.E.P.O.R.T. (Reading, Eating, Playing, Obsessing, Recommending, Treating), and this format is PERFECT for my trip recap!
Reading — Disney World Menus
Don’t worry. I read books, too (did anyone else just set their Goodreads goal for 2025??), but when I’m in Disney World, my eyes are on the menus. And we’re not just talking fancy restaurant menus. Look out for the menus at the little snack kiosks around the parks and resorts, too! You never know where you might find a hidden gem.
Some of my favorite menus are located at little snack spots that are easy to miss, like Eight Spoon Café at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom. Maybe it’s the Gen Z side of me, but I would gladly snack my way through the day instead of waiting around for one big meal at a sit-down restaurant. When $6 Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork exists, do you really need a dining reservation? NOPE!
Eating — Joffrey’s Play-Doh Cookie
Selfishly, I’m sharing this so that more people go and buy it so that Joffrey’s NEVER takes this off the menu. Every time I visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I stop by the Joffrey’s Coffee kiosk near the entrance to Toy Story Land. This is the only place to get the Play-Doh Cookie, and it’s my FAVORITE cookie in Disney World (sorry, Gideon’s Bakehouse!).
This treat is heavenly. It’s a Funfetti sugar cookie with caramel and white chocolate chips sprinkled inside. The center is sooo perfectly soft and pulls apart really easily. Go get it. It’s the BEST!
Playing — “Nothing Can Stop Us Now”
I’m addicted to this song. When the official Disney Parks TikTok account shared this remix, I was hooked. If anyone was wondering, this is how it feels to enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios on a bright, sunny day.

If you need a new song to add to your Disney playlist, it should be this.
Obsessing — Happily Ever After
Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks show NEVER gets old. The soundtrack is FLAWLESS. The visuals are perfect. The fireworks themselves are stunning. Nothing will ever top this show.
There are a ton of great places to watch the show, but if you don’t like being packed like sardines, I would avoid Main Street, U.S.A. altogether. I like to watch the fireworks in Fantasyland! Sometimes, you might even get lucky and spot a Disney princess enjoying the show, too.
Recommending — A Visit to Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie
OK, here’s where my one and only trip regret comes in. I LOVE visiting Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie in EPCOT. It’s not a very big restaurant, but it manages to bring in a LOT of people. Back in the day, this spot was considered a hidden gem. But the secret’s out, and I’ve seen some LONG lines form here. If you don’t time it right, you might end up waiting in a long line for a little snack here, and that’s exactly what happened to me.
Do I regret waiting so long for a Patisserie a L’abricot? No! But next time, I should probably try to visit this restaurant before or after the lunch rush.
My second complaint is that there aren’t a lot of places to sit in the France Pavilion, so be prepared to wander around the World Showcase in search of a table and chairs.
Treating — Myself to a Lyft Ride When the Line at the Bus Stop Is Ridiculously Long
If you make the mistake of leaving the Magic Kingdom right after the fireworks, you’ll probably wind up in a LONG line at the bus stop. During my trip to Disney World, by the end of the night, I was exhausted. I needed a break, and I didn’t have the energy to wait for a bus back to my hotel. Instead, I sucked it up and paid for a Lyft back to my hotel.
Yes, the Disney World transportation is free. But sometimes, it’s better to pay ten-ish dollars and skip the hassle. I wouldn’t pay for an Uber or Lyft ride every time I go to or from my hotel, but every once in a while, it’s nice to treat myself and get a private ride.
We’ve made it to the end of my trip report! I hope you had fun. As you can see, my visits to Disney World consist of buying snacks, watching the fireworks, and wandering through the World Showcase. Ah, the life of a Disney fan!
