So you’re heading to Disney World this year? Amazing, we’re here to help you make sure you have the best trip ever!
We know, you’ve already spent so much money on your tickets and accommodations, but trust us when we say that having these essentials with you in the park will make your trip SO much easier. We’ve been to the park without them all and majorly regretted it, so learn from our mistakes!
A Poncho
Here’s the thing — you may think you don’t need rain gear, whether that’s due to the time of year you’re going, or the fact that you “don’t mind getting wet,” but here’s the thing — you will regret it. We’ve regretted it SO. MANY. TIMES. We’ve been soaked more times than we’d care to admit, so do yourselves a favor and buy a Frogg Togg Poncho so you don’t have to buy an overpriced Disney one that will rip in seconds.
A GOOD Power Bank
We say all the time having a portable charger is important, and it is, but you want to be sure it’s a GOOD one. Especially if you know you’ll be taking loads of photos and videos while you’re in the park, and ESPECIALLY if you’re vlogging (video blogging) your whole trip. In that case, use what we use, which is the Anker 737 Power Bank. It’s hefty and it’s expensive, but it won’t let you down!
A Smaller Charger
If you don’t need something that heavy-duty, you still need some form of charger, so we recommend the Anker 621 Magnetic Portable Charger! This is what we use to make sure we don’t run out of power on less intense days in the parks, but you won’t find us in the park without at least ONE charger on us.
GOOD Sneakers
Listen, we know that HOKA shoes aren’t the best for everyone, and that’s totally okay! We know that many members of our team love the HOKA ONE ONE Women’s Low-top Sneakers and they work well for them, but if these aren’t a good match, we strongly recommend heading to a sports store in your area and asking for them to measure your foot. Professionals in this field will be able to give you a great recommendation on what shoes will be best for your feet.
Great Socks to Go With Them
We know, cute socks are usually the way to go for Disney, but more important than that is getting socks that will hold up. We love these Disney Character Socks because not only are they adorable, but they don’t tear easily, they stay on, and they don’t slip down and become uncomfortable when you’re walking miles and miles.
Anti-Chafe Stick
Listen, anti-chafe sticks are for EVERYONE at EVERY time of year. Sometimes, they’re more helpful during colder times of year because your sweat and constantly applied sunscreen isn’t acting as a natural lubricant for your body, so grab yourself some Body Glide Original Anti Chafe Balm to carry around you. Trust us, it’s saved us many times.
Blisters Will Still Happen
Even with the best shoes and socks, accidents and blisters still happen, so it’s best to have some Moleskin on you! We prefer moleskin over bandaids because you can also place moleskin on things like shoes to keep parts of them from rubbing against your skin.
We’re always here to help you make sure you have the best trip ever, so stay tuned to DFB!
