Did you know that you could skip the lines at most Disney World quick-service restaurants?
Mobile Order, which can be found on the My Disney Experience app, is a tool that you should be using on your next vacation to Disney World. By placing a Mobile Order, you order your food online and ahead of time, which means you do not have to worry about waiting in line to order your food. Over the past few years, Disney has introduced new updates to Mobile Order, but honestly, Mobile Order is a hack in itself. If you are looking to make Mobile Ordering even easier, you will want to know about one of our favorite hacks!
We always love to share our best tips and tricks with you to help make your trip to Disney World even easier. When it comes to Mobile Ordering, there are a few tips and tricks to make your experience even better, like scheduling your Mobile Orders, modifying your arrival window, and even checking in a bit early. Still, there is one hack that will make your Mobile Order experience even more straightforward.
When you go to start a Mobile Order through the My Disney Experience app, it will pull up restaurants that are closest to you. For example, if you are at your resort, your resort restaurants will be the first to populate. Otherwise, it will pull up based on the year the parks opened, followed by the resorts in alphabetical order. If you go to look at all the options, it will sort by location, such as theme park, resort, water park, and even Disney Springs. You can click on the location to expand and see all restaurants that offer Mobile Order within the locations.
While this is organized nicely and is very colorful, you can refine your options even more by using filters! In the top left corner, there is a “Filters” button. When you click on it, it will take you to the filters page.
You can filter by location and resorts, but our two favorite filters are “Nearby” and “Available now.” These filters are super helpful to help you see what you can order right now and what is near you. While some Mobile Order times may not be too far out, being able to filter and see what you can pick up right away can make it easier to choose where you want to eat.
Once you place the filters you want on, the page will refresh and show you all the available locations based on your preferences. The page will look similar to the original page without the filters on, but as you scroll, you will see that the options shown will be refined to your preferences.
This hack has changed our lives because it saves us time, as we don’t need to scroll through all the options. It is a great tool to help you figure out what is nearby and available right away. You can still use filters, even if you plan to schedule a Mobile Order! Although this feature is not the newest Mobile Order feature, we are glad that Disney is continuing to improve the Mobile Order process.

We are big on table service, but there are quick service locations on our must-do list. We love using mobile order whenever possible. However, we occasionally find that some items or changes are only available if you don’t order through the app. We’re hoping that more of that is available through the app on our next visit. We have been known to order what we can through the app and send one person into line for the rest.

We were recently staying at the Treehouses in Saratoga Springs and I used the “closest selection.” I ordered kid’s breakfasts. My husband was already at the Saratoga quick serve so I hit “I’m here.” Unfortunately my food had been ordered to Olivia’s at Old Key West. We didn’t figure it out until the Artist’s Pallette at Saratoga Springs couldn’t find my order. No refund because we hit the “I’m here.” It was our first time there and I didn’t realize Olivia’s was not the quick serve at our resort. Many Resorts are close together and your room may be close to another resort.
