We’ve eaten at EVERY Disney World restaurant so it’s safe to say we have plenty of thoughts!
The Swan and Dolphin Resort at Disney World is incredibly popular, especially when it comes to the restaurant and festival offerings. The Swan and Dolphin have a combined 23 restaurants but there is ONE standout that we can’t stop raving about.
Before you give you our top Swan and Dolphin restaurant, we want to bring up a few honorable mentions. The first is The Fountain, which is excellent if you’re on a budget but want some tasty American fare.
Another solid option is Il Mulino New York Trattoria, which got a perfect food score from us during our last review. This spot offers a fantastic wine bar in addition to a menu rich with authentic flavors amid brick walls, dark wood tones, and rustic lighting.
The last honorable mention belongs to Kimonos Sushi Bar — which has an attached lounge fully equipped with a KARAOKE setup! As for eats and drinks, you’ll find traditional Japanese sushi and cuisine in a contemporary atmosphere. Notably, this restaurant was named the best Sushi in Orlando by the Orlando Sentinel Newspaper.
Alright, now let’s get to our big fish — our favorite restaurant at the Swan and Dolphin. We take this pick very seriously, so when we tell you Amare is our favorite, you know we’re not saying that lightly.
Located at the Swan Reserve, Amare is inspired by the “tastes and cultures of the Mediterranean region”. This signature restaurant is all about fresh, premium ingredients, seafood, citrus, olive oils, pasta, and pitas. You’ll also have access to an extensive Mediterranean-based wine list, including specialized wine flights.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Amare offers a breakfast buffet and a la carte selections from 6:30 AM to 11 AM, lunch options like salads, flatbreads, and entrées such as grilled line-caught mahi-mahi from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and dinner selections such as hearth-fired Tiger Prawns and charred octopus, sea bass al cartoccio, and more from 5 PM to 11 PM.
We’re especially fond of The Amare Flatbread, which just might be THE BEST flatbread in all of Disney World! The Amare Flatbread is served with leek, potato, lardon, roasted black pepper, and gruyere for $20 and we’re ALWAYS craving it!
Other flatbreads served at Amare include La Margherita (tomato basil, Tuscan olive oil, ricotta, and provolone cheeses), La Vegetale (roasted grape black pepper pecorino cheese, aged balsamic, and baby arugula), and La Soppressarta (soppressata, red onion, torn mozzarella cheese, and San Marzano tomato).
The offerings here are incredibly unique and definitely make Amare stand out from other Disney World restaurants. The atmosphere is also awesome here, as the dining area is very light and airy, featuring a lot of wood accents and cooler, blue tones.
You’ll also see an open kitchen, further adding to the ambiance and authenticity of the restaurant.
All in all, there’s a little something for everyone here, although it definitely helps to have a more adventurous palate. From delicious flatbreads to delectable wine selections to exciting seafood entrées to reliable kids’ meals like spaghetti and hamburgers, there are plenty of enjoyable offerings at Amare and we can’t wait to go back and dine again!

What is your favorite restaurant at the Swan and Dolphin? Let us know in the comments!
I’ve been curious about it. My only hesitation is that they didn’t put this restaurant on one of the upper floors so you could have a nice view while dining.
Amore looks very nice but the menu at Il Mulino is more appealing to us. It was my late husband’s favorite Disney World restaurant, where he always ordered the spaghetti carbonara and tiramisu. We also enjoyed The Fountain, which is a great option for those who like Beaches and Cream but don’t have a reservation.
