Disney Vacation Club just announced that its very first in-park Welcome Home Center will be opening soon!
We have been wondering why the Canada Pavilion has had construction walls up for so long, and it appears we finally have our answer!
Disney Vacation Club just announced the location for its first in-park Welcome Home Center. The in-park Welcome Home Center will be located in the Canada Pavilion in EPCOT and will be called Château de Voyage. Inside the new space, you will be able to explore membership in DVC and visit a model room of Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
That is about all we know right now about this new Welcome Home Center, but we will keep you updated as we learn more about this new space. We have seen construction walls up for quite a long time in the Canada Pavilion, so we finally have an explanation regarding what has taken so long!
Disney Vacation Club, commonly referred to as DVC, is a membership program that is Disney’s version of a timeshare. The membership utilizes a Vacation Points system, where members are given a yearly allotment of Vacation Points. The points allow members to book their vacations and choose their destination, resort, season of travel, and length of stay.
Disney Vacation Club members can “Vacation when, where and how often [they] want!” In addition to being able to book rooms at accommodations at a variety of Disney destinations, Members can also take advantage of savings on things like theme park admission, special event tickets, Disney dining, and parks merchandise, as well as invitations to special Member-only events, such as Moonlight Magic!
Additionally, you can also take advantage of exclusive DVC lounges, like the brand-new lounge that just opened in Magic Kingdom! McKim’s Mile House is located in Frontierland, and the lounge features air-conditioned seating, Coke Freestyle machines, and WiFi.
