When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options. Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it. Something middle-of-the-road and comforting? Yep, that too. And if you’re looking for something upscale and luxurious, you can find that as well.
We recently stopped by The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs to check out a new take on an old classic, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth a stop on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Find out here!
The BOATHOUSE is home to one of our favorite drinks in all of Disney Springs — and maybe all of Disney World! The Duck Duck Razz is made with Skyy Raspberry Vodka, Blue Curacao, lemon juice, and simple syrup, and it comes with an adorable rubber duck!
Well, imagine our excitement when we found out that right now, The BOATHOUSE has a FROZEN Duck Duck Razz — that’s served in a souvenir cup! That’s right, for $22, you can get a frozen version of the drink we know and love in an adorable souvenir cup that you can use again and again.
It’s basically an alcoholic blue raspberry slushie, which we have zero complaints about. You can definitely taste the raspberry, but it’s not in your face like a kid’s slushie would be. It did melt on us pretty quickly, but that’s par for the course when you’re drinking frozen drinks in the middle of summer at Disney World.
It has that taste of the Duck Duck Razz drink that you might be familiar with — the light alcoholic taste with a twinge of that tangy raspberry flavor to it. It’s not super sweet, and you have just a hint of alcoholic taste to it. It’s just enough to be like, oh, there’s a little bit of alcohol in there. This is a pretty good deal if you’re looking for a memorable souvenir and something to whet your whistle with!
In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!
