There’s no denying that Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is one of the most popular attractions in Walt Disney World.
Since the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)-themed coaster opened back in 2022, the ride has consistently been swamped from rope drop to park close, and often tops the list of Disney World’s highest average wait time each week. Given that popularity, it’s unsurprising that Lightning Lane Single Passes — which allow guests to secure a time to ride one of Disney’s most highly demanded attractions for an additional charge — are often in high demand, selling out quickly.
So, if you find yourself heading to EPCOT this year and wondering how to get a Lightning Lane Single Pass for Cosmic Rewind, and how much it will probably cost you, we’re here to help.
Let’s begin with the former: To score a Lightning Lane for Cosmic Rewind, you’ll want to try getting one as early as possible, meaning it would benefit you to get one as early as possible. This is where being a Disney World hotel guest comes in, as those booked for Disney World hotel guests can begin booking Lightning Lanes 7 days in advance of their arrival date, as opposed to 3 days before their park day for non-hotel guests.
If you can score a Lightning Lane in July, we’re guessing you’re going to wind up paying somewhere around $20 and $22 per guest for them. July is typically a very busy month at Walt Disney World, serving as the apex of the vacation season. In 2025, July Lightning Lane prices for Cosmic Rewind averaged between $16 and $18.
However, in the final months of 2025, prices went up across the board, into the $19-$21 range, and have remained there through the early months of 2026. In fact, through the middle of May, there haven’t been ANY days under $19, and fewer than 25 days at $19. Given the usual crowd numbers for July, it seems there will be many days at the “lowest” price, hence our projected $20 to $22 range.
If you’re heading to EPCOT this July and planning on experiencing Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind with a Lightning Lane Single Pass, you should expect to pay about $21 a head to do so. Stay tuned to DFB for more on Disney World’s evolving ticket structure.
