Every once in a while, we notice a trend happening in food and drinks in Disney World because it seems like almost every other restaurant is offering something with a certain flavor or a certain kind of food. Remember the whole flavored croissant trend? Yep, we were there for that.
New cookie!
Well, right now, we’re seeing a NEW flavor trend, and we’ve seen it previously at The Cake Bake Shop. The trend is mixing blueberry and lemon flavors (which is honestly a very summery thing). Well, now, Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs has jumped on the trend with a brand new cookie.
Meet the Blueberry Lemonade Cookie. It’s made with a sweet blueberry-lemon mixture on a cookie topped with yogurt mini chips, agave crunch, and blueberry sugar for $6.50. First, you’re getting a cookie that weighs almost a half pound, so it’s absolutely a good value. What you’re also getting is a cookie with bursts of blueberry goodness with a slight tartness from the lemon. The two flavors together? Well, they’re DIVINE.

You also get a cookie that crumbles really easily, BUT there’s a good reason for it. That’s because this cookie LOADED down with actual blueberries. They’re just ALL up in it. So make sure you keep a napkin nearby to catch those crumbs. It’s such a fun snack, especially if you like the sweet and sour flavor combo.

So, yes, Gideon’s has done it again, and we’ll be running back to Disney Springs to grab another one of these babies as soon as we can. It’s going to be available all month, so don’t miss out!
