A new version of a popular ride is coming to EPCOT, and it’s opening soon!

Soarin’ Across America is set to open in EPCOT on May 26th. This ride pays homage to the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, and it features scenes from across the USA. But before it opens to the public, you may get a chance to preview the ride!
Disney announced that there will be Annual Passholder previews for Soarin’ Across America on May 19th and 20th. To participate in this preview, Annual Passholders may join the regular standby queue for the ride during normal operating hours.

The queue is subject to capacity and will be closed to daytime visitors who are not Passholders. To enter, you must have a valid Annual Pass and present it at the ride. Keep in mind that you still may need a Park Pass Reservation to enter EPCOT and pass blockout dates apply.

The ride is going to feature entirely new video, and Disney has confirmed that there will still be incredible scents to match each scene. In addition to those changes, however, we have recently seen permits that hint at new set elements being installed for the ride. We’ll be interested to see what those are when the ride opens.
Soarin’ Around the World
Soarin’ Around the World closes on May 13th to make way for the new America-themed version. The Disney World website notes that Soarin’ Across America will be a limited-time offering, but Disney has not yet confirmed if Soarin’ Around the World will return after the limited-time version ends.
