FIRST LOOK at NEW Animatronics Coming to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

There’s been some BIG news released for Disney’s Hollywood Studios lately!

Disney has announced the menu for the new FØØD by Swedish Chef location coming just outside the ride (and we’re super excited about some of the new offerings coming soon), and now, we’ve gotten a first look at the new Scooter animatronic coming to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, as well as our first glance at what ride photos will look like!

We now know that when you enter the G-Force Records studio, you’ll be greeted by The Electric Mayhem jamming out to the familiar tune Can You Picture That? as they prepare for their concert. This is where you’ll get to see the first‑ever Audio‑Animatronics figure of Scooter, which was created using motion-capture of the actual Scooter the Muppet!

While Scooter does his best to convince The Electric Mayhem to stop jamming and get to their fans at the concert, you’ll see his trusty audio engineers (of course, all penguins) adjusting the dials to make sure the band continues to sound incredible.

Disney also gave us a look at what our ride photos from the attraction will look like, and it seems we could get a few different ones! Disney’s wording is, “check out your concert-inspired versions of the attraction photo from Disney PhotoPass Service that puts you center stage with The Electric Mayhem!” Yes, that seems like we’ll get one of EACH of the ride photos below, so you can choose which you like best, or if you have Memory Maker or an Annual Pass with photo downloads, you can grab them all.
