FINALLY! A Disney x Elf on the Shelf Collection Is Coming Later This Year

Christmas might still be over six months away, but this new announcement is going to make everyone start preparing early. For the first time ever, Elf on the Shelf is collaborating with Disney!

This brand has been around since 2005 and has never done a major collaboration like this until now. So let’s get into the reason behind the partnership and all the fun Disney x Elf on the Shelf fun fans can expect from this collaboration.

This collab, first reported by Parade, is going to include specialty costumes, props, accessories, kits, and carriers. And they have even released the four Disney franchises set to be included: Mickey Mouse & Friends, Olaf from Frozen, Disney Princesses, and Spider-Man. The prices for these new items will range from $12.95 and $25.95. This collaboration came about because co-CEO and co-founder Chanda Bell saw that many families were making their own Disney customizations to their elves at home.

According to co-CEO and co-founder Christa Pitts, “Our goal was to collaborate with iconic, beloved brands and marry our fandoms in an authentic way.” Since many families were already incorporating Disney into their Elf on the Shelf tradition, they thought it was time to make an official collaboration that would allow families to expand their Elf and customize it to their kids’ favorite movies and characters.

While they are starting out with these first four categories, they hope to be able to incorporate even more movies and characters in the future. So if you’re excited about this collaboration, pre-sale opens on Amazon in mid-July before officially launching on September 15th on The Santa Store. Then later they will be available at Target, Walmart, CVS, and Michaels.
