Recently, Disney has announced new lands, attractions, and entertainment headed to the theme parks, new ships coming to the Disney Cruise Line, and so much more. But what about those projects that Disney hasn’t exactly announced yet?
Keeping up with the latest construction permits Disney World files can be a great way to find out just what is going on around the parks and hotels, and we recently spotted one for a popular EPCOT pavilion!
We’re always on the hunt for the latest construction permits filed by Disney to get an idea of what sort of changes might be coming to the parks, and we recently spotted a new Notice of Commencement filed for the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT.
The contractor listed on the permit is Buena Vista Construction Company, Disney’s in-house construction company. Since they’re not contracting the work out to a larger or specialized firm, we’re anticipating that whatever changes are linked to this permit won’t be anything too extensive.
Of course, we’ll keep an eye on the Mexico Pavilion either way and will let you know if any significant changes are on the horizon.
In the meantime, we’ll be on the hunt for new updates from Disney World and more — so stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest news!

We love Mexico! The churros. The boat ride. It’s often crowded inside and a little dark for shopping. I always thought the crowds and shoppers felt out of place next to fine dining. Maybe they will expand so it feels lighter and less crowded? Expanding the souvenir collection would also be nice!
