Great news for fans who love the Epcot’s Candlelight Processional at Disney World during the holidays!
We brought you news last week of the first confirmed narrators for the 2014 Epcot Candlelight Processional. And today, we wanted to share that booking for Candlelight Processional Packages is now open!
The Candlelight Processional features the retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator. The reading is accompanied by a robed choir and a full orchestra performing Christmas carols.
The popular event takes place three times each evening throughout the holiday season at the America Gardens Theater in Epcot’s World Showcase. This year, guests can see the performance from November 28 to December 30.
Because of the show’s popularity, seats go quickly! The Candlelight Processional Package is an excellent idea if you would like a guaranteed seat.
Packages include a meal at one of Epcot’s participating restaurants: click here to see which restaurants are included on the 2014 Candlelight Processional list! Booking a package entitles each person in the party to a ticket for guaranteed seating at the evening’s performance of the Candlelight Processional. Packages are available for both lunch and dinner seatings. Lunch packages start at $35 per person and dinner packages start at $50 per person. Click here to book yours!

great news, anyone know the cost of the via napoli dinner package?
Nic says
Just to let people know, as of this year the package does NOT include reserved viewing for Illuminations. Although I know many felt it was unnecessary, it was a nice extra to the package and its discontinuation is a shame, despite their being lots of good vantage points for the show. This has been confirmed through the Disney Parks Blog!

Anyone else think it is strange that they are booking CP already when the food and wine festival stuff is not even announced yet, let alone able to book it? Where is our F&WF info?
Janet Sala says
Ann G — You sound like me!!! Last year, the special events were announced the weekend of the Tables In Wonderland, F&W Preview dinner. This year, that date is 7/19, so everyone expects the details to be available that weekend, or early the following week. We’ll then have until mid-August before planning, and then we will all jump on the phone at 7am some random Tuesday morning to the delightful sound of “all-lines-are-busy”. 🙁
And you are in the right place to get the information as it breaks. AJ is amazing about getting the information out!

Very fed up and frustrated with these ‘Disney’ sites. Have tried to book any restaurant for the dinner package for The Candle Light Procession 2014. We are a party of 8-all reservations are gone!! Is this so? We are staying in a Disney Resort-spending substantial amounts of money to stay and travel from Australia and can’t even get a reservation? This is ridiculous! We are ‘over’ the Disney experience already-which is very sad- all the depressing blogs suggest massive overcrowding and suggest booking in advance-which we have been trying to do.
Can anybody explain clearly if and how we can get a reservation. : (

Hugh B — Candlelight packages are VERY popular, and do sell out quickly. That’s why we post immediately when they start going on sale. Your best bet is to continue trying for a reservation, as many folks do cancel as they get closer to their trips and issues come up. Best of luck to you.
