Allright, Food & Wine Festival fans… we have some NEWS for you today!
Dates for the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival have been added to the Disney World website! The dates are (drum roll, please)…
September 25 – November 16, 2015!
Once again in 2015, the Festival is running for seven weeks! Unlike last year, however, the additional week is extending the Festival further into the month of November (as opposed to starting one week earlier than usual, as in 2014). As always — note that these dates are subject to change.
An additional week in the cooler fall temps… what’s not to love?!? And this is just the beginning. Keep your eyes on the Disney Food Blog and the DFB Newsletter as we prepare for what WE consider the Most Wonderful Time of the Year: the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival!!

Well that is actually a bummer for me as I was planning that last weekend to see the holiday decorations in the international village which will now get pushed out even further….. sigh
Sandra says
Can’t wait – now waiting for dates for Swan and Dolphin dates!!!!!!!
Gene Speroni says
Seems like we just left Last years. Had the BEST time! Can’t wait to go back with Friends This Year! It Just gets Better and Better. The After Hours Food Party was Fantastic. It was a Great Event and look forward to it again this year.
AJ says
Sandra — October 30-31, 2015 on the Swan and Dolphin Food and WIne Classic! We’ll have a post about it on Friday! 😀
THERESA says
Do you have to pay to enter the food and drink festival or is it all free. I am going from 27th oct-6th nov with my 13yr old son
Rach says
Swan & Dolphin on Halloween? Are they nuts? Considering how many people are down there for MNSSHP & Universal’s HHN I’m worried the crowds around WDW are going to be like Holiday times.
And I am very bummed for the later start date for regular F&W. I was planning on going starting the 20th to take advantage of the F&W Premium Pass on Mon-Thur. (Expensive but BEST IDEA EVAH! ) I guess the amount of wash-out rain days in Sept-Oct are what pushed it to drier times. 🙁
disneyfan says
Oh NOOOOO!!!!!! I am so bummed, as the kids are out of school starting September 21 and based on the 2014 dates, I thought that it would be the first week of Food & Wine that week… BOO!!! Wish they would back it up a week and start earlier! They could go for 8 weeks – why not!!!!???!!!
Johnraiders25 says
We’ll be there Oct 18-24 at Beach Club…can’t wait!
Jenn says
As always I’ll be there waiting in line for 12 hours for HANSON <3
Carol says
So glad it doesn’t start any earlier, it is still hot in September in Orlando. Can’t wait to get more information, hopefully some new food offerings and new concerts.
amy says
Now just waiting on boyz ii men’s dates and I’ll book my trip!
Alexis says
Can legally drink the week after the festival, oh Epcot how ypu taunt me.
Melissa says
Can’t wait! Just have to convince husband of a trip this year. Any word if they will have premium package again this year?
Lisa says
I’ll be there Sept. 18-28. Was hoping for an earlier date but at least I’ll have a few days there. Went last year and there was so much to try. All good food.
Chris says
Glad I pointed that out to you on Twitter, AJ,
Steve says
To Theresa: the festival is all around the park and is included with your park admission. However, none of the food or drinks are free.
AJ says
Hey Chris! Actually, I had an awesome email from a reader named Bob, too, that tipped me off! I should have put that into the post! 😀 Thanks to Chris and Bob!I can’t do this job without everyone in the DFB community!
Sam says
Hi, we are planning on being on Epcot on 9/24 thinking that the festival would be in full swing as in previous years….does anyone know if there would be ANYTHING going on Food & Wine related that day? =(
AJ says
Sam — If past years are an example, 9/24 will be a “cast member preview” day for the festival. No events will be scheduled, but the booths will likely be open around World Showcase for a “testing day.” Hope that helps!
Sam says
AJ- That puts a HUGE smile on my face as we only have the weekend and are doing MNSSHP Friday night and HHN @ Universal Sat. Thanks!!
Liz says
How can I find out if/when Sister Hazel is playing there again?!! 🙂
Jocelyn says
Awesome!!! We just booked dvc for the 5-14, thinking we’d catch the end, race weekend (runnjng the half), & a MVMCP…. But now…. Whohooo… More F&W days!! You’ll see me there balancing my DFB tray on one of my strollers 😉
FellowCollector says
We really enjoy Food & Wine, but have 2 wishes: 1. They publish the details and start reservations about 3 months earlier (April rather than July) so we can schedule the right vacation dates and get a reservation for the time period of the events we are interested in. 2. The Festival started Labor Day weekend so even if we can’t get a specific event booked at least we’ll already be off from work to enjoy the booths!
AJ says
FellowCollector — I totally feel your pain!
AJ says
Jocelyn — AAAH! YOU HAVE TO SEND ME A PICTURE!!! 🙂
Jocelyn says
Are you doing any DFB meets that last week AJ? 😀
Tia says
Whenever Hanson is there, I will be there! It’d be great if they were scheduled for three days this year instead of two considering that they are the undisputed fan favorite of the Eat to the Beat concert series!! 🙂
Chris says
I’m really glad they bumped it back a week. I’ve always wanted to do the food and wine half (it’s the last run Disney I haven’t done), but couldn’t bring my self to binge eat and drink the days prior to the race. Now we can run and then binge!!! I’m booking our room now.
Also, AJ, I meant to include a smiley face in my post above about Twitter because I was just joking around but it didn’t come through. Darn internet sarcasm.
Erica M. says
I went last year! It was a blast!!! I can’t remember, do they normally have the event Party for the senses EVERY saturday night?
Rebecca B. says
We’ve done IFWF a few times now, and will be going again this year, but we plan on being at Epcot on the last day, November 16. Has anyone done this before and noticed a difference in food quality or atmosphere? I’m taking my mother and I want her to have the same awesome experience we have. Thanks for your help!
Gill Hothersall says
We won’t be able to go for a few years now, but just wanted to say that I hope they do keep offering the Premium Package. It was a superb way to experience the Festival – no queues, no crowds, just quietly sitting in the shade while people bring you food!
Personally, I’d prefer it if they dropped the Late Night Live party and offered a seminar, tasting or something else instead. The party was OK, but I certainly wouldn’t have paid separately for it – it was a bit ‘something and nothing’.
Oh, and I really hope they boost the number of speciality non-alcoholic drinks at the booths. Not all of us are big drinkers, why should we have to stick to lemonade all the time?
Marissa says
Can someone help? On the Disney site, it says the festival ends on Oct. 31. I did the castmember chat, and she told me the same thing.
Jocelyn says
Marissa – you’re right about the site (odd). But it doesn’t end until November 16!! I’m already registered for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon which isn’t until November 7 – at which time the festival is going on. Just think someone “goofed” on the webpage.
Brooke says
Marissa, we have confirmed with Disney directly that the correct end date is November 16. The October 31 date is an error, and we are told that it will be corrected soon. Happy planning!
LINDA says
Any word yet on if they will offer the Premium package again this year and if there are any changes to what that package will offer? Maybe chairs and umbrella’s this year in the VIP areas…? =)
Brooke says
Linda — We are adding new details everyday, and we’ll let you know about the premium packages as soon as we have word on them. Keep checking back, and thanks so much for reading! 😀
