The Epcot Food and Wine Festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2015, and today, we’re starting to get an idea of what this year will include.
We have updates on everything from food to new attractions, so let’s get to it!
NEW Booths and Dishes
While we anticipate lots and lots more announcements about new food items, we’re getting our very first glimpse of some eats that will debut in the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Booths!
The Scotland Booth is back and will debut a brand new drink, the Scottish Citrus Thistle!
A Grilled Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp with Pineapple, Peppers, Onions and Snap Peas will be a highlight at the Australia Booth, and the New Zealand Booth will tempt guests with a Seared Venison Loin with Wild Mushroom Ragout and Kumara Dumpling.
Other new dishes will include Pepper Bacon Mac ‘n Cheese (what WHAT?!??!?) at the Farm Fresh Booth. But I super hope that amazing Hash returns in 2015!
Of course, we are crossing our fingers and hoping that plenty of dishes that we love return as well. We do know that the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup is returning to the Canada Booth!
So we can breathe a collective sigh of relief there. 🙂
New Special Events
We cannot wait to check out a brand new festival Premium Event — the French Family Meal Traditions Lunch, which will take place on Fridays and Sundays.
A brand new premium party, the Rockin’ Burger Block Party, will also take place on select dates. More details to come about that one!
NEW Artists Debuting and Familiar Favorites Returning to Eat to the Beat Concert Series
Taking in an Eat to the Beat Concert as the sun goes down is a great way to enjoy your evening at the festival. And this year, we have some brand new acts to choose from.
New acts Tiffany, Everclear, Maxi Priest, and Chaka Khan will take the stage at the America Pavilion in 2015. They’ll be joined by several returning acts, including Wilson Phillips, Smash Mouth, The Pointer Sisters, Jo Dee Messina, Boyz II Men, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

Celebrity Chefs to Appear at the 2015 Food and Wine Festival
One of the most fun aspects of the festival is catching a low cost culinary demonstration with celebrity chefs. 2015 will see the return of many favorites. Look for Cat Cora, Robert Irvine, Jamie Deen, Rock Harper, Kenny Gilbert, and Buddy Valastro at Culinary Demos and Special Events.
The festival will also welcome back chef and cookbook author John Ash, who appeared at the very first festival in 1996!
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt
Also new for 2015 — everyone’s favorite rat chef Remy will be joining the party with
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt! Kids from 4 to 94 can go on the hunt throughout World Showcase to find little hidden statues of Remy. There will be special maps and stickers, and you may even win a prize!
Returning Attractions
After an absence in 2014, the Ocean Spray Cranberry Bog will once again return this year!
Also, the Chase Lounge will again offer Chase Card Members a place to stop and relax for a spell, while they enjoy complimentary refreshments and more.

I’m so excited to go! Glad to hear the cranberry bog is back. I went last year and got a pin with Stitch in the bog but there was no bog. And I love the sound of the Remy scavenger hunt. Oh and the food too. That’s always amazing.
LESLIE says
Are the dates a secret?
Gloria says
Do you know when Everclear will be there?
mealtrip says
Leslie… the dates are secret 🙂
The festival itself runs from Friday, September 25 until Monday, November 16, 2015. Specific dates for the new and returning events probably won’t be available until at least July 13th. That’s the day after the preview lunch, and some info manages to sneak out of that. Here of late though, more specific information has been released later and later each year. If history is any indicator, booking for all of this should opens up around August 18th-20th. Solid dates and times for events, are usually only available a few days before that.

FYI Dearest, Helpful, Disney Food Blogger – the first link in your post in the first paragraph under NEW Booths and Dishes, links to the admin “edit post” area of your wordpress dashboard. Since we aren’t logged in, we just get to your login page, but you will want to fix that link.
Thanks for the info, btw. We will be there the first week of November and LOVE this festival every year!

I’m a sucker for sweets but I’ve been craving venison and have nowhere to get it here. Can’t wait!!!!
Jill says
I cannot wait for the warm carrot cake, but can’t remember where it was! Its worth going to the festival for just that alone, seriously.
Brooke says
Jill — It was at Hops and Barley in the America Pavilion. 🙂

I’m passing on this year’s F&W Festival to try the food at the F&G Festival, but I look forward to living vicariously through all your posts.

I can hardly wait. French family lunch sounds interesting, but not at the expense of the regional lunches, which always take me back to my 18 years in Europe. Several disappointments at the culinary demos last year (we actually walked out on one it was so bad) so hopefully this year will be better.
Tonia says
I can not wait!!! Thank you for keeping us up to date, I will be watching closely!!!
Shannon says
Keeping my fingers crossed that either Everclear, Boys II Men or Big Bad Voodoo Daddy are there during my trip!
