So. much. cute.
Have you seen the latest Jerrod Maruyama mugs on any of your own Disney trips this year? I most recently noticed these in Epcot’s Mouse Gears, but you can also find them in Magic Kingdom’s Emporium — or just about anywhere on Disney property that sells mugs, basically.
Jerrod Maruyama is the artist behind the Hipster Mickey line, among others, and he’s super fun to follow on Instagram. But what I really like about these mugs in particular is the way his designs pick up on some truly iconic Disney moments and images.
For instance, the Pinocchio Mug features so many memorable moments from the film. I can’t help but think of the artwork in Pinocchio Village Haus when I look at it.
Like the others, the amount of detail packed into the Bambi Mug is pretty incredible. Plus, it’s somewhat hard to find Bambi merchandise in the parks, so points for that, too!
I know it’s inspired completely by the film, but the colors of the Dumbo Mug remind me of life under the circus tent at Big Top Treats.
I’ve saved my favorite for last: the Disneyland Mug. It shows Disney characters enjoying
classic attractions, like Goofy on the Matterhorn.
But there’s something about Donald Duck in a Doom Buggy with Ezra the Hitchhiking Ghost that really puts this one over the top.
By the way, you can find this mug in Disney World, too. (To clarify: Disney World doesn’t have its own mug at this point, but you can find the Disneyland one in some stores there.) And just an FYI: each mug goes for $14.95. So which one would YOU choose 🙂 ?
Will you be coming home from your next Disney vacation with a Jerrod Maruyama mug? Please let us know with a comment!

Yes – I purchased the Bambi one at the Polynesian Village Resort – Boutiki – in April. It is a beautiful mug. It has a large grip (which I love) and is very sturdy and glossy. I like when the inside is colored – the Bambi one is a spring green to go with the baby animals 🙂 Also inside is a little circle picture with the grown-up Bambi. If I could post a pic here I’d show you 🙂

This might work – it’s a link to a picture of the inside of the Bambi mug. https://photos.google.com/u/0/photo/AF1QipOENt5TBSLwRPu4wzvbuUduOrKTxjeXWTzEweD0

I bought the Dumbo one on my last trip, but took a solid ten minutes holding both it and the Pinocchio mug, trying to decide! So precious.

Yes… I got the Bambi one when they first came out in Feb 2015. I plan to get the Dumbo one on my next trip in October. I LOVE these mugs!!

I see these around, and they are indeed very nice. If I had to pick one, well, I usually pick Dumbo for many Disney-related purchases, but you’re right, we just don’t see much merchandise for Bambi anymore, which is why I’d consider his mug. They’re all adorable, though.

Is there any way these can be ordered? Just returned from DWorld vacation in September, and never saw these – it will be a while before we can return….
