In mid-July, menus mysteriously appeared on the My Disney Experience app (viewable only on Android devices at the time) for Minnie’s Holiday & Dine Dinner, which subsequently opened up a flurry of talk about whether a special holiday character meal was coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Now we can happily say that guests will indeed be able to celebrate the season with Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy (in their “all-new holiday finery”!) from November 7, 2015 through January 3, 2016! The dining experience will feature holiday decor, music, and “holiday-themed food and activities.” Guests can book the experience with or without the Fantasmic Dining Package (however, at the time of this posting, only the option including VIP seating for the Fantasmic! nighttime spectacular is bookable online).
Here are all the Merry Details!
Dinner seatings start at 4:30 pm (closing times vary based on the evening’s presentation of Fantasmic! and park close).
Cost to dine without the Fantasmic option is $50.05 for adults (including tax, not gratuity) and $29.81 (including tax, not gratuity) for kids 3-9, and, per a call to WDW-DINE, 1 Table Service credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
Cost to dine with the Fantasmic option is $56.44 for adults (including tax, not gratuity) and, per a call to WDW-DINE, $34.07 (including tax, not gratuity) for kids 3-9, and 1 Table Service credit on the
Disney Dining Plan.
Play n Dine will continue to be on the Breakfast and Lunch menus, and will have the normal Disney Jr characters. As of today, the Minnie Holiday and Dine Fantasmic Package is only bookable as a dinner event.
To make an Advance Dining Reservation, call (407) WDW-DINE, or book online. A credit card guarantee is required at time of booking.

online booking is now available for non Fantasmic dinners 🙂

I could not find availability on my desktop computer for the Minnie’s Holiday and Dine Dinner and still no dinner option came up for Hollywood and Vine but I found availability for just Hollywood and Vine dinner on my I-Phone . There was no Minnie’s Holiday and Dine Dinner on the I phone app. Is the only dinner during this time period at the Hollywood and Vine Restaurant the Minnie’s Holiday and Dine Dinner? Is it possible that only the dinner with Fantasmic is on the web site and that only the dinner is available on the I-phone app?

I am so excited to have gotten a reservation for the week before Christmas but I feel a little foolish now because I got the Fantasmic version. I thought it used to be Fasntasmic dinner packages didnt have an upcharge, you just had to eat dinner at like 4 pm….but now I see I just paid about $22 for the Fantasmic VIP seating for my family of 4 which I am not sure was very smart of me. But I am excited none the less. I guess I will see if the VIP section is worth it come December!
Rachel says
I’m so bummed! The resevations for Minnie’s Dinner at Hollywood and Vine were booked for our week, by 2:00 pm on the first day of reservations!!! So disappointed!
ROSLYN says
I’m so excited to have gotten a ressie for Minnie’s Holiday Dine for the week we’re there. I checked online as soon as I saw they were taking ressie’s and I got the very one that was available.. Talk about “Magical Luck”, that was it…. can’t wait… I’m still trying to get in for the Wishes Fireworks Dessert at MK, but no luck on that one yet…. still checking everyday….

This looks like the old Jolly Holiday dinner that was at the Contemporary resort. I enjoyed this very much and I am sure that everyone else will too. Have fun everyone.
Tamara says
I made reservations for dinner at Hollywood & Vine for December 31, 2015. Are all dinner reservations from November 7-January 3 the Minnie’s Holiday Dine? Then, If you want the Fantasmic Pkg, you’d book the Minnie’s Holiday Dine + Fantasmic? I never saw a separate listing for just the dining event…they wouldn’t split the place into a plain ol’ dinner section & the Holiday Dine section, would they?! I’m assuming that unless you specifically booked the Fantasmic pkg., you booked the Holiday Dine. Please tell me, if this is incorrect!
Jenn says
Anyone know how I can get reservations for Dec 8th-Dec 12th for Minnie’s Holiday & Dine Dinner ???
Jennifer says
I checked yesterday and there were some openings for like 7:30…Maybe they extended the hours??
Beth says
Silly question probably… do they accept tables in wonderland for stuff like this?
ROSLYN says
We have reservations for November 21st but are still unable to get additional reservation for our son and his family. Still checking everyday though !!
San says
I’m on the DDP and trying to book for January…but it says DDP not accepted?! Anyone hear anything on that?
Roslyn says
We have ressie’s for November 21st and we did use our DDP. Not sure why it says that won’t accept it. I would call Disney direct and ask them.
Roslyn says
We had dinner at Minnie’s Holiday and Dine and was not impressed. The food was not good and we had to ask a waitress to have Minnie, Daisy and Donald to come by our table. We had been there over and hour and the only character to come by was Mickey. Will not do again. Not worth it…..
