That’s right — sneak peek food photos from an event that’s still three months away!
Since I’m not based in Florida, I asked my great friend and colleague (and Disney World Moms Panelist) Suzannah DiMarzio of Zannaland, to attend Thursday night’s Tables in Wonderland preview of the 2010 Epcot Food and Wine Festival in my place. She kindly obliged, and now we’ve got some fantastic Sneak Peek pictures of what’s new at the Festival!
I’ll be posting Suzannah’s full write-up of the event on Monday, but here’s a little Sneak Peek of the Sneak Peek! 😉 I couldn’t help myself — I had to post these pictures of what the newest International Marketplace booths, South Korea and Belgium, would be like, along with their menus and pics of some food:
As you can see, the Belgium menu includes:
Steamed Mussels with Roasted Garlic Cream
Freshly Baked Waffles With Berry Compote and Whipped Cream
Godiva Chocolate Iced Coffee
Stella Artois
Leffe
Hoegaarden
The South Korea menu includes:
Lettuce Wraps with Roast Pork and Kimchi Slaw
Barbecue Short Rib with Steamed Rice and Cucumber Kimchi
Honey Ginger Tea
Jinro Chamisul Soju (a strong sake-like drink)
Bohae (Black Raspberry Rice Wine)
You can see from this map where every 2010 Food and Wine Festival International Marketplace Booth will be set up. Note the red boxes — those are new booths: South Korea, Belgium, Cheese and Charcuterie, and 15 Beers.
There’s plenty more where that came from! Stay tuned to see even more from the sneak peek dinner in our full post on Monday!

I’m going to feel so guilty for eating all this delicious food at F&W while my husband stays home with the kids. Not!

My kids are excited. On one day of our trip, I will give each of them $20, and they’ll choose what they eat from the F&W booths for lunch.
They’re eagerly planning their lunch menu for that day. And as a bonus … I’m making them learn something about each of their chosen countries. Since they’re 8 and 10 year old girls, they’ll change their mind several times before spending the money. I figure I’ll get them to learn something about 75% of the countries out there before the trip. 🙂

I’m very sad, and happy at the same time. I went yesterday to the food and wine festival for the soft opening, and though everything that I tried was AMAZING, I was really looking forward to the godiva chocolate iced coffee in belgium. Well, it’s a mistype, it’s actually godiva chocolate liquor iced coffee, so I couldn’t have it 🙁 . I’m pregnant and was gonna make one concession to have the coffee (caffeine) to begin with, but I def cant do the alcohol. booo. The belgium waffles were amazing though 🙂
