If the Grand Floridian Resort is your cup of tea, you won’t want to miss the Garden View Tea Room‘s Afternoon Tea offerings!
Every day the resort serves a spread fit for the Queen with a beautiful garden view to match.
It’s a traditional tea service complete with fine china, tea sandwiches, jams, jellies and other tiny treats. You can read more about how it works in our previous reviews here and here. But, in case you missed it, the tea room recently received a new menu according to the Disney Parks Blog!
With the addition of new teas, Garden View Tea Room now serves the largest collection of Twinings loose-leaf teas, and they’re all exclusive to the Walt Disney World Resort! A few of the new teas are Perfect Afternoon, Garden Party, and After Dinner Mint.
The tea room even has a tea sommelier on hand to help you choose the best tea for you!
Don’t you think a spa day with afternoon tea is a great way to relax on vacation? Let us know in the comments!

This is the experience I’m most looking forward to on my next trip!

We were there the week of Labor Day, I tried the After Dinner Mint and LOVED it!! It is one of the few mint blends (Green Tea, Peppermint, and Lemongrass) that does not feature spearmint and is not overpowering. It is quite refreshing–even as hot tea!!

We have done this once recently, and I loved it. Lots of negative comments online regarding menu changes and cost. It was tasty, relaxing and I’m looking forward to going again to afternoon tea in Nov.

My family recently enjoyed the afternoon tea. My husband fell in love with the gingerbread tea. Do you know how I can order it for him??
DFB Sarah says
Sherry, I tried to see if the brand of tea is noted online, but I struck out. There are several tea brands that sell gingerbread tea, but I think you’ll want to contact the resort and see if they can find out specifically which kind of tea is served in Garden View. Try calling the resort number ((407) 939-3476). Good luck!
