The opening date has been set for PizzeRizzo! The Counter Service eatery will open in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 18th!
And we’ve got some details on the eats, too! While we have long known that the specialty of the house would be — obviously! — pizza (and it looks like the pizza will be pretty much the same as what was served at this spot’s predecessor, Toy Story Pizza Planet), it seems there will be a bit more to the menu.
Each Personal-sized Pizza entree — with choices including Veggie, Pepperoni, Meat Lovers, and Cheese — will be served with a side Caesar salad. A Meatball Sub will also be on the menu, as well as an Antipasto Salad (Romaine lettuce with tomatoes, Mozzarella, Kalamata olives, ham, pepperoni, salami, and Balsamic Vinaigrette).
Dessert options will feature Cannoli and Tiramisu. Specialty drinks will step outside the Counter Service norm with options such as a non-alcoholic Peach Bellini. Wine and beer will be available for guests 21 and over, along with a Wildberry-Basil Lemonade Limoncello.
Some further information has also been released regarding the decor.
Be sure to look all over the restaurant for signs of Rizzo the Rat of Muppets fame as well as his extended family and friends who have paid visits to the restaurant over the years.
Your inner party-goer will definitely want to seek out a seat UPSTAIRS in Rizzo’s Deluxe Supreme Banquet Hall, where a wedding reception will be “already in progress…” COMPLETE with a disco ball and accompanied by a party playlist!
Looks like I’ve still got a few weeks to brush up on some of my best wedding dances. (I don’t wanna brag or anything, but I do a pretty mean “Sprinkler.”) I hope to see YOU on the dance floor at PizzeRizzo!
Is PizzeRizzo on your list to visit in Hollywood Studios? Please let us know with a comment!

Can’t wait to see your review! I hope they have improved on the pizza.

What are the chances of a sot opening the days leading up to the 18th?
We’ll be in DHS on the 16th.

I think putting a salad with the pizza as the default option is a smart idea – normally I would just order pizza, but since it comes with a salad, chances are good I’ll eat at least some of the salad and hopefully get some nutrients (though Caesar is not the healthiest of salad choices, I suppose). Really looking forward to the peach Bellini!

It’s not on my list yet, but if it’s improved then it will be. It is always on my kids list so I will eat there on my next trip.

My family and I love pizza, however, there is one thing that it has to be…….egg free, no egg in anything. Does your pizza contain any eggs? Ie: pizza dough? Hope not so we can see your place. Thanks.

Oh, where is the cappuccino cupcake? I was hoping it would return, but alas…
Renee says
Any chance they will have a gluten free option? If not, I guess I’ll be ordering the antipasto salad.

AJ, I thought you had written negative reviews of the pizza at this location. What is going to be Different? If they are upgrading the food, great. If it’s just new ambiance, why should we go?
Ashley says
People on this comment feed are… SALTY. Most places have a gluten free dough option. The restaurant hasn’t opened yet, so when it does, DFB can review it and let you know if the pizza has improved. If you don’t like the review… don’t go. Simple as that.
