More About the Outdoor Kitchens
Set up around the World Showcase, Outdoor Kitchens offer regional and national delicacies to sample and taste, with the emphasis on fresh-from-the-garden goodness. Small plates and beverages give guests the chance to try specialty recipes from International locations!
New in 2017, we will see the addition of two more Outdoor Kitchens, in addition to the 13 Outdoor Kitchens Returning from 2016.
La Isla Fresca, which emphasizes Caribbean influences, was a favorite destination in 2016. We are so glad to see the Jamaican-braised Beef with Pigeon Pea Rice and Micro Cilantro return!
Cider House was new last year, and featured a fresh palate of bright fruit flavors paired with cheese. One of our favorites, the House-made Potato and Cheddar Cheese Biscuit with Smoked Salmon Tartare, returns in 2017!
The Freshly Baked Lemon Scone with Crème Fraîche and Mixed Berries is back too — AND it’s Gluten Free!
The Tarte à l’Onion Alsacienne from Fleur de Lys was one of my favorite dishes last year. We are so glad it returns this year!
And always opt for the desserts in France. The Macaron is a DFB Favorite!
Festival favorite, The Smokehouse, is also back in 2017.
The Beef Brisket Burnt Ends Hash with White Cheddar Fondue and Pickled Jalapeños returns again as well!
Menu Pricing
We anticipate that 2017 prices for most dishes will be in the $3 – $8 range. Don’t forget that many of these will be available for a Disney Dining Plan snack credit! That’s a great value!
