I don’t understand why every upscale Disney dining event has to include wine/alcohol. I would love to do some, but I’m allergic to wine and don’t care for beer, and the alcohol is always included in the price. I can’t be the only Disney fan who doesn’t drink. Where are the adult upscale food events for us?

I must be missing something because these prices seem insane. Why wouldn’t I just go to V&A’s where the food is guaranteed to be much better, and I can still meet the chef? I wouldn’t do it if it were capped at 10 guests, but that would make more sense if you were paying for an intimate experience. With this and the $600 cabanas, I’m guessing there are a lot of people going to WDW who have so much money they don’t care what anything costs.

6 out of 9 are at the private restaurant at Golden Oak. My take would be that all those super rich folks aren’t using the place enough to keep it profitable. Clearly not events for the masses.
