Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Ladies and Gentlemen, ’tis nearly time to say “Good morning!” to Rapunzel, Flynn Rider (a/k/a Eugene Fitzherbert, a/k/a my boyfriend ;-D ), Ariel, and Prince Eric at the brand new Bon Voyage Breakfast Coming to the BoardWalk’s Trattoria al Forno!
April 2nd is the day this new Character Meal experience will make its debut.
As of this writing, the Disney World website has not yet been updated with full information regarding the meal. However, a call to Disney World Dining at (407) WDW-DINE confirmed that April 2nd is the opening date, and Advance Dining Reservations are currently open.
The fixed price for the experience is $34 for adults and $20 for children ages 3-9, or 1 Table Service Credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
Additionally, Disney Parks Blog has just announced a menu! Breakfast begins with the guest’s choice of a fresh fruit salad or mixed berry parfait. This will be coupled with a frying pan (a la Rapunzel, I presume 🙂 ) of pastries including braided bread.
Next, adult guests will make their selections from the following entrees:
Shipwreck al Forno
Calzone with scrambled Eggs, Soppressata, Bacon, Sausage,
Blend of Cheeses and Sunday Gravy
Golden Frittata
Prosciutto di Parma, Piquillo Peppers, Green Onion,
Pecorino Romano and Roasted Potatoes
Tangled Eggs
Tomato & Basil Scrambled Eggs,
Fresh Mozzarella, Sunday Gravy and Roasted Potatoes
Two Eggs Poached Under Water
House-made Fennel sausage, Parmesan, and Sunday Gravy
over Golden Polenta and Toasted Ciabatta
Tower of Pancakes
Seasonal Buttermilk Pancakes with Bacon or Sausage
Royal Breakfast
Oak-Grilled Steak, Cheesy Egg Torte, Asparagus,
Crispy Onions and Roasted Potatoes
Swimmers di ‘light’
Smoked Salmon Egg White Omelet with Spinach, Mushrooms,
Tomatoes, Goat Cheese and Roasted potatoes
Options for the little princesses and princes in your party will feature a Mickey Pancake, Mickey Waffle or a “Little Royal Breakfast” (an egg, bacon, and toast). Non-alcoholic beverages are included, and adults may also choose to add a Mimosa, a Peach Bellini, or specialty coffees at an additional charge.
So, that’s all fine and good. But all I know is I’VE GOT A DATE WITH FLYNN RIDER on April 2nd!!! [Insert hearts-for-eyes emoji here! ;)]
Pin it for later!

I was able to make reservations for our trip at the end of April, but only by going through the app. It wasn’t available online.

I’m Disappointed in the menu changes. My previously favorite breakfast items appear to no longer be available.

Got mine for August!!

We made reservations this morning for April. My daughter is a huge Ariel fan so I’m really hoping she will be there.
This is the morning of our last day at Disney so it’s an appropriate title!
Karen says
I just made a reservation for August 19! Perfect, since we will be staying at BoardWalk Villas!
Doug says
Is it like the Star Wars breakfast at Sci-Fi, where you can get more than one entree? The Royal breakfast didn’t look too filling.
Brooke says
Doug — We’ll have more details as soon as the bon voyage adventures begin! We plan to be first in line. 😀

I can’t decide if I’m excited about this or not. If my daughter finds out we DIDN’T book breakfast with Rapunzel, my name will be Mudd. But I was looking forward to fewer dining reservations this trip. I wish they would have had this three years ago when we stayed at Beach Club Villas, *sigh* choices.

I am eagerly awaiting your food review. I booked it because my niece, ok and me, love Rapunzel but the food sounds meh to yuck.

Very disappointing! Just another way for Disney to try to increase revenues. The breakfast menu here was VERY good and very restricted diet friendly. The Mickey Waffles (Gluten free option) with the Mascarpone cheese was OUTSTANDING. Now its a fixed fee for a fixed menu? Disney is neglecting all of the Adults who have been paying the bills for these vacations over the many years. There are already many choices for Character breakfast. This one seems particularly lame, and takes away a great sit down breakfast option.
Not a good change.
