Walt Disney World Annual Passholders are eligible for free Passholder gifts at the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
First: if you attend the Festival at any time — running from August 31st through November 13th — you can receive a specialty button to commemorate your visit. There will be a new design each month (featuring Remy with the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower, and the Torii Gate), and all you have to do is stop by the Festival Center to show your valid Annual Pass and photo ID to collect the featured button each month.
Second: there will be even more unique buttons which you can collect at several of this year’s Festival Marketplace Booths! When Passholders make a purchase at any of the following Future World booths, they can receive the additional buttons while supplies last (with presentation of a valid Annual Pass and photo ID): Light Lab, Flavors from Fire, Coastal Eats, Active Eats, Earth Eats, The Chocolate Studio, The Cheese Studio, and The Wine & Dine Studio.
The Festival kicks off TOMORROW, and we are SO READY! How about you 🙂 ?
Passholders, will you be collecting buttons at this year’s Food and Wine Festival? Please let us know with a comment!

I am not a fan of buttons and I would never wear them, so I wont even bother. I really enjoyed the glass tumbler i received last year and every time I use it, it brings back so many great memories of our time at the festival last year. (Im equally sad we wont have a Chase Lounge this year).

The buttons look cute, but I love using my wine glasses that I’ve accumulated over the years. I won’t be at Party for the Senses this year, so I wish they would at least sell a passholder wine glass so I could collect this year’s!

Not thrilled about the buttons AT ALL. In fact after doing nice gifts the last few years this feels like an insult instead of a gift.
Koreena says
This is just an insult. They give free buttons on your first visit, or your birthday. I was looking forward to a glass. This just feels so cheap.
Shirley says
We had planned our 3 visits to qualify for the glasse like last year, however with these I won’t even bother. This is a real let down for all the money that AP’s give you for Disney not to give them anything in return. Very disappointed. Once again the AP gets nothing.
Melissa Ragazzi says
Looking forward to collecting these special passholder only items, as this is my first year as a Passholder! Yay!
Barry Moss says
Buttons really come off as cheap, not like the classy glasses they offered for a couple of years. Even a pin would be cool. Now I came to Food and Wine for many years when there was nothing special for pass holders (except for the free wine tastings and free culinary demos for anyone who lined up), so I’m not going to get choked about this. But free buttons are just tacky for what is supposed to be a fun, sophisticated event. It really doesn’t fit with the marketing of this as a premium event.

I agree with the other commenters: The glass tumblers from last year were great and we’d even settle for pins, but buttons? Please.
On a positive note, looking forward to driving over later today and sampling what looks to be some awesome eats/drinks!

I too really enjoyed getting the glass. That said, I already picked up my first button yesterday. I like Remy so I will just put a magnet on the back and stick it on the fridge. I wouldn’t mind if they had special AP wine glasses for sale even, instead they have things like a figment Tervis. No thanks.

Seems like the Disney suits are seeing just how much they can eliminate and still fill the parks and resorts.

I can’t believe that Disney is opting for the cheap way out for the 35th anniversary of Epcot. Considering the price of an annual pass you would think that we would rate something more than 50 cents (if the buttons even cost that much). This is truly an insult to the passholders.

I agree with everyone. The buttons, while cute, are just cheap and tacky compared to the glasses. I was hoping for another tumbler with 2017 to go with last years glass. Disney you failed dismally on this one. I too went for many years with no passholder reward/gift and would prefer a return to nothing rather than this mildly insulting “gift”.
ericka says
i agree, the buttons are a NO-GO , go back to the glasses or a canvas bag or something especially the money we pay for pass holder tickets alone, buttons are boring and cheap.
Amber says
We are very disappointed that Disney switched to something so cheap. We loved our glasses last year and were looking forward to another. We won’t be getting the buttons.
Allison says
Would have much preferred a pin. Buttons are common and mine kept falling off my purse. At least it was a cute design. The little “AP” buttons were so ugly I didn’t bother getting them.
Was also hugely disappointed that the Hide & Squeak reward was not a pin but a foam keychain. I bought it because I’d read you got a pin. You even redeem it at the pin trader booth!
For the AP gift, a tumbler, beer or wine glass would have made me feel special.

So very disappointed this year!
Ashley says
I know the buttons are disappointing to some, but I’m personally very excited for them.
Joe says
Buttons again VERY disappointing. Disney again showing they take annual Passholders for granted. Shame.?
