We’re headed out to the 2010 Epcot Food and Wine Festival again today, but first I wanted to share a few more of the items we sampled yesterday! Don’t forget, to see full coverage of each booth — including food pictures, menus, and pricing — check out our Epcot Food and Wine Festival Booth Pages! France
We sampled the Cosmo Slush and Milk Chocolate Creme Brulee yesterday — both incredible, but I was really taken with the Cosmo Slush!! Of course, the escargot and Short ribs are back again this year, too! You can see more pictures, the full menu, and prices on our France Booth Page!
Italy
We sampled everything edible in Italy and were blown away! The ravioli is superb; the polpettine were delicious (loved the sauce); and while the cannoli was our least favorite, it was still quite good — a little extra layer of chocolate did the trick! You can find the full menu, prices, and more pictures on our Italy Booth Page.
Japan
Japan introduced some delicious ribs this year as well as brought back some old favorites. Check out more photos, the full menu, and pricing on our Japan Booth Page!
See you at the Festival!! Go check out more food pictures on our booth pages!

DDP question – some Disney restaurants will allow you to “exchange” a counter service meal for 4 snacks. Does anyone know if the F&W booths will make this exchange? Thanks!
AJ says
Not sure on this one, Sharon! Hopefully someone has some experience (if not; I’ll ask!)

I’ll be having the snails, polpettine, and wafu ribs. Next?

The Creme Brulee looks very well made. I know how to make some but am not allowed with one of the blow torches is the downside. (It’s truly the funnest part!)
Cannoli’s have to be one of top favourite desserts to eat (that is when I eat them) ever since I tried them at the local Italian restaurant. I haven’t ever seen a black one before though as they are all usually a brown-ish colour.

I thot the creme brulee was great – sometimes the top of creme brulee can be thick as pavement. This was a perfectly textured brulee and the custard was well flavored very light and not crazy sweet. I must say that my favorite thing at F&W so far is the Cosmo Slush…crazy good…maybe it was the perfect 80 degree weather, maybe it was playing hooky from work but seated in France with my slushy, cold, red vodka goodness was just exquisite. Do try it.
The cannoli shell is dipped in choclolate and filled with a traditional cannoli creme. It was tasty and perhaps the best thing I had in Italy. The ravioli was good but truth be told I’ve had better ravi. I don’t think I’ll visit Italy again when i go back. Do try the cannoli, it was tasty and good 3 bite bit of sweetness.
