Hey… can you keep a SECRET? Yeah, me neither 😉 . That’s why we’re sharing some Walt Disney World Secret Menu Items with you right here! These are items you won’t see listed on the standard menu available to guests at dining locations around Walt Disney World. But you gotta be in the know... and that’s what you have the DFB for!
That said, we want you to be aware that Secret Menu items change frequently, so take the items shared on this page as examples of items we’ve found in the past. (Retired items are noted where applicable.)
And also know THIS: sometimes these food items are served up with a special side… of FUN!
Magic Kingdom
Location: Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen
Oh, those wacky Jungle Cruise Skippers at the Jungle Skipper Canteen… they’re always cookin’ up something fun. And that includes a few SECRET MENU items!
Ready to surprise your Skipper? See if you can order up the Secret Menu item, Pao de Queijo.
This is similar to the Brazilian Cheese Bread that can be enjoyed during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. It’s served with chimichurri cream cheese at the Canteen.
Another appetizer on the Secret Menu is the Pork Satay Skewers.
The dish is made with grilled pork in a soy-ginger sauce alongside a slaw made of lettuce, carrots, and pickled onion.
Find our review of this SECRET app here!
For Secret Skipper Sips, request the Cerulean Blue Sangria — a Riesling white wine and hints of orange.
There is also a secret Passion Fruit Sangria made with passion fruit, pineapple, and Prosecco.
And the Frosty Pineapple drink is Prosecco wine infused with pineapple and apple flavors.
Be sure to ask your Skipper for these items by name to see if you can get in on all the secrets during your visit to this Adventureland spot!
Find our review of these Skipper SECRETS here!
Location: Spring Roll Wagon
Now, in some cases, a Secret Menu Item may not be an actual item so much as a Secret Enhancement. For instance, when visiting the Spring Roll Wagon outside of Adventureland, we learned about a new sauce that’s not on the menu. This dipping sauce for your choice of Spring Rolls is mayo-based, so it’s sort of like an aioli.
Click here to learn more about this “Secret Sauce!”
Location: Rose & Crown Pub
There’s a SECRET dessert over at Rose & Crown Pub in EPCOT! It’s called Christmas Pudding and it’s plant-based.
But don’t let “Christmas” in the name fool you… you can find this tasty treat ALL YEAR LONG — IF you to know ask for it!
Click HERE for our SECRET “CHRISTMAS” PUDDING review!
Location: Refreshment Outpost
The Frozen Brown Elephant is a favorite item which originally made its debut at the Refreshment Outpost during the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. This frozen mix of Coca-Cola with milk and creamy Amarula Liqueur was such a hit that it made it to the regular menu for a time.
Then it disappeared… until we recently discovered that it is available (when Amarula is in stock) as a Secret Menu item!
HOORAY!!
Discover why we love the Frozen Brown Elephant here!
Location: Choza de Margarita
Here at the DFB, we’ve got a few tricks up our sleeves. We like to call them Menu Hacks… combinations of items that WE come up with, which you WON’T find listed on the menu! They’re kind of like our super-secret Secret Menu items… like the Candy Cane Margarita we came up with at Choza de Margarita!
We asked the kind bartenders at Choza to layer Frozen Lime and Strawberry Margaritas to mimic the classic stripes of a candy cane.
If you’re feeling festive, find our Candy Cane Margarita review here!
Location: La Cava del Tequila
Another one of our favorite watering holes in EPCOT’s Mexico is La Cava del Tequila. And while the spot is known for its fabulous margaritas, a new Secret Menu item has made its way to La Cava: a Virgin Colada!
What a fun option for the kiddos when visiting the Mexico pavilion with their parents! Of course, we were also informed that of-age guests can order this one with rum and pox (a Mexican liquor)…
Check out these Secret Summer Sips at La Cava here!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Location: Nomad Lounge
Now, this particular item may not currently be available as a Secret Menu item, but it DOES give us the chance to provide you with a great tip! If you’re visiting a lounge that is connected to a table service restaurant, you may be able to snag some items from the restaurant as a Secret Menu item!
In several lounges, the connected restaurant’s full menu is often available (like at the Tune-In Lounge connected to 50’s Prime Time Cafe, or the lounge at the California Grill). But at Nomad Lounge, our kind server directed us to the Lobster Mac and Cheese that is served at the connected Tiffins!
Ditto on another visit, when our server filled us in on the Sweet Corn Soup!
It’s always worth asking, my friends…
Check out how we learned about the Lobster Mac and Cheese here!
Location: Restaurantosaurus
Our next secret menu comes from Restaurantosaurus in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Here, we’ve crossed paths with a unique Passholder-exclusive Secret Menu, featuring their Scotch Egg!
As with all secret menus, the availability of these items may come and go, so if you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, be sure to ask on your next visit if the Scotch Egg is available!
Find out more about this Annual Passholder-exclusive secret menu item here!
Location: Restaurantosaurus Lounge
Restaurantosaurus also hosts a Lounge! It’s here we discovered the secret Raspberry Fizz cocktail made with Bacardi Raspberry, Sprite, and cranberry juice and garnished with a strawberry.
Raise a glass with our review of the Raspberry Fizz here!
Another hidden find? The Tealasaurus! It’s Buffalo Trace Bourbon Whiskey with blue curaçao, triple sec, lemon juice, and lemonade. Plus, it comes with two lemons in the shape of Mickey’s ears!
Find our Tealasuaurus review by clicking here!
And we’re not done yet! Sometimes you can order up secret items that were previously available as regular menu items (most specifically, at bars and lounges). For instance, the Cretaceous Cooler was once served in Animal Kingdom, but guests can order it up — even though it’s no longer on the menu — at Restaurantosaurus Lounge!
This pretty green sip is made with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Blue Curacao, Midori, and Pineapple Juice.
Click here for our Cretaceous Cooler review!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Location: Tune-In Lounge
Sometimes, you can score a Secret Menu item based on a regular menu item. Case in point: the super popular PB&J Milkshake (yep, that’s peanut butter and jelly!) is an absolute staple at the Tune-In Lounge.
But did you know you can also order it spiked? No? Well, now you do! 😉
Check out the PB&J Milkshake (and other frozen favorites) here!
Disney Springs
Location: Gideon’s Bakehouse
When (not IF, but WHEN) you stop by Gideon’s Bakehouse to pick up one (or more!) of one of their famous fully-loaded, nearly half-pound COOKIES, be sure you’re in the know about any Secret Slices of CAKE they may be serving, while you’re at it! Here’s how it’s done:
Follow Gideon’s Bakehouse on Instagram or Facebook, or sign up for their newsletter! These outlets are where they will share the unique promoted password for the extremely limited secret slices, when available! (They won’t be advertised otherwise, so stay in the loop to get in on the secret!)
Location: Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is an Indiana Jones-themed spot that specializes in cocktails and tapas. There are 4 (yes, we said FOUR) cocktails on this restaurant’s secret menu!
You can find our reviews of the Lucky Lindy, the Bully Mammoth, the Starry Night Mojito, and the Oxygen Tank here!
Location: Marketplace Snacks (Limited-Time Example)
The Watermelon Dole Whip TACO at Marketplace Snacks serves as another great example for ways to find out about Secret Menu Items. Though it was only available for a very limited time, this one was announced on Disney Parks TikTok, another great place to look for Secret (or not-so-secret 😉 ) Menu Items!
@disneyparks 🚨TIK TOK MENU ALERT! 🚨 Now – Sept. 6: new DOLE Whip Watermelon in a 🍉 Wedge at Marketplace Snacks #DisneySprings #DOLEWhip #Watermelon #Snack
You can find our review of the Dole Whip TACO right here!
Location: Vivoli il Gelato
Ok, HERE’S another great tip… if you check the menus for dining locations on the Walt Disney World website, you may find some more not-so-secret Secret Menu items listed online. These are items you won’t see posted in the location itself, like the Double Chocolate Waffle Sundae and Matcha Affogato at Vivoli il Gelato!
HERE is the final result of the onsite order for the Double Chocolate Waffle Sundae:

Location: D-Luxe Burger
And DITTO to the above online menu tip for Mobile Order! One particular spot that makes the most of offering Secret Menus items that you can only spot through Mobile Order (available through the My Disney Experience app) is D-Luxe Burger. Examples include their Strawberry Shortcake Gelato Shake and Bacon & Blue Burger we spotted off of their Mobile Order menu last year!
We’ve seen their secret menu get as high as having EIGHT offerings at one time. But these items are typically limited-time offerings, so if you spot something on their secret menu, be sure to grab it!
Check out our review of these secret specialties here!
Location: Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
The Gray Nissan cocktail is a mix of Blue Hooch and Strawberry Lemonade Moonshine, which when stirred together in a cup, turns a rather murky shade of gray. Since the Gray Nissan is not an official menu item, you’ll have to ask for a combination of the two drinks at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’.
An unusual color? Yep! But surprisingly tasty…
See our review of this Secret Menu Sip here!
Location: Sprinkles
If you’re a cupcake connoisseur, you may already know that Sprinkles has a location in Disney Springs.
But did you know you can occasionally find Off-the-Menu items there?
As implied, you won’t find these offerings on the regular menu hanging in the front of the store. So be sure to reserve a peek in the bakery case before making your final decision, and look for that “off-the-menu” label, as seen beside the Vanilla Caramel Cupcake (pictured above) that was the off-the-menu item during an autumn visit.
Disney World Starbucks
Location: Starbucks in every park and in Disney Springs… and YOUR local Starbucks!
Did you know you can find a bunch of Disney pal-inspired drinks at Starbucks? And HERE’s a hint… you don’t even have to be in the parks! You can click here to learn how to order SEVEN different Starbucks drinks based on your favorite Disney characters — whether you’re in Disneyland, Disney World, or just at your local store!
If you just so happen to be in Disney World, you can order up these drinks with character at Starbucks locations including Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom, Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom, Traveler’s Cafe in EPCOT, and The Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You’ll find two Starbucks locations in Disney Springs, too!

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
Location: Belle Vue Lounge
Pssst… the cool kids know about The Shadow at Belle Vue Lounge. A mixture of Chambord, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, Vanilla Vodka, and Heavy Cream, it’s as much dessert as it is a cocktail.
This drink used to be featured on the lounge’s menu a long time ago; but, alas, that time has passed. Thankfully, you can still order it… IF you know to ask for it!
Find this BoardWalk classic cocktail here!
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Location: Barcelona Lounge
Though the spot has only been open since summer of 2019, Barcelona Lounge has already made a name for itself as a great spot for Secret Menu cocktails. The secret items change with some frequency (about once a month, from our experience), but one example is the Melon Margarita.
Be sure to ask what might be available during your visit to this lovely lounge! And in the meantime…
Learn more about this Secret Menu cocktail here!
P.S. Sometimes, you may find additional Secret Menu items just for the holiday season. See MORE Coronado Springs Resort secret surprises for the holidays here to get an idea!
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Location: Steakhouse 71
Steakhouse 71 serves up a unique menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But did you know that some dinner menu options are often available when you dine during lunch?
This is per request only and isn’t necessarily guaranteed, but if something from the steak-focused dinner menu catches your eye, we recommend asking your server! For instance, we were able to get the 6-oz Filet Mignon at lunch (pictured above) for the regular dinner price.
Another off-the-menu discovery is the Steakhouse 71 Impossible Stack Burger, an option for plant-based eaters as a twist on the regular Steakhouse 71 Stack Burger!
Our Impossible Stack Burger came with Vegan Fries.
Click HERE to find our review of these Steakhouse 71 SECRETS!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Location: Grand Floridian Cafe
You’ll often spy a Seasonal Soup on the menu at the Grand Floridian Cafe, but be sure to ask your server about anything in addition to the current selection that might be available… you may be in for a secret surprise!
That’s how we learned about the Strawberry Soup! This chilled, refreshing favorite is a famous dish typically served at 1900 Park Fare, but we were able to enjoy it as a Secret Menu item at the neighboring Grand Floridian Cafe.
Click here to check out the Secret Strawberry Soup!
Disney’s Old Key West Resort
Location: Gurgling Suitcase
The Gurgling Suitcase is a charming little lounge at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. But this tiny nook of a bar is big on surprises, as evidenced by an exclusive Secret Menu cocktail: Slappy Joe’s Bourbon Berry Lemonade!
Slappy Joe’s Bourbon Berry Lemonade is Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Blackberry Brandy, Odwalla Lemonade, and a splash of grenadine.

We’re even letting you in on a few secrets that might help you grab this special item with a little more ease…
Find our tips for scoring this Secret Menu item here!
Location: Barefoot Pool Bar
If you visit the Barefoot Pool Bar you’ll find an item on the menu called The Voyager. And guess what? This colorful cocktail started as a DFB Hack based on the non-alcoholic Kakamora Float — one of our favorite snacks in Magic Kingdom — and turned into a Secret Menu item known as the Spiked Kakamora!
Again, these days, you’ll find it on the regular menu as The Voyager, so it’s no longer a secret. But this is a great example of what can happen when a Secret Menu item really takes off in Disney World!
See this no-longer-secret sip — and read up on the tropical ingredients — here!
If you’d still like to sip a Secret Menu item at the Barefoot (now that the cat’s happily out of the bag with The Voyager 😉 ) , why not order a Samoa Sunrise?
This frozen drink blends Dark Rum, Apricot Brandy, and POG Juice, with a floater on top of 151 Rum on top. (POG Juice, of course, is our favorite tropical blend of Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava Juices!)
Check out our Samoa Sunrise review here!
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Location: Geyser Point Bar and Grill
The Blue Wilderness… sounds lovely, doesn’t it? And you can enjoy this serene-sounding SECRET sip at Geyser Point Bar and Grill!
Blue curaçao gives the Blue Wilderness its signature hue. It’s also comprised of Zodiac black cherry vodka, pineapple juice, and lemon! BONUS SECRET: Our bartender told us this is the only spot on the property where you can find Zodiac Vodka.
You can find our review of the Blue Wilderness here!
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
Location: Let’s Go Slurpin’
The Tilly Trio sometimes makes rare appearances on the menu at Let’s Go Slurpin’ during special events at Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, but otherwise you just need to know about it. Enter…US TELLING YOU ABOUT IT!
This fun, tropical frozen drink is layered with strawberry daiquiri (red), piña colada (white), and the Typhoon Tilly (blue), which tastes like a frozen margarita.

EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts (Retired… for now)
Inside the Mexico Pavilion pyramid at EPCOT, there is a small but popular bar. La Cava del Tequila created a NEW SECRET MARGARITA for the Mexico pavilion’s 2024 Festival of the Arts booth: El Artista Hambriento! The Art-garita ( a “smokey mezcal banana bliss, with a splash of glittery blue curaçao”) was a collaboration with artist Dom Corona. And there’s SOMETHING SPECIAL YOU HAD TO KNOW…
In order to get this secret drink, you had to tell the Cast Member taking your order that “Dom Corona sent me.”
The drink came with a paintbrush for you to stir your drink adding a fun art twist! You could even animate your drink using a special filter that can be found on @lacavadeltequila Instagram page. Stay tuned for more Festival Secret Menu fun at future events!

All-Star Movies Secret Menu Items (Retired… for now)
We wanted to let you in on this truly unique happening at the World Premiere Food Court in All-Star Movies Resort that elevated the Secret Menu experience when it launched in late summer of 2017. If you asked a Cast Member at the Roxy Counter…
… they, in turn, notified a Manager. And that Manager would bring out a very mysterious briefcase.
It’s filled with ViewFinders, revealing Secret Menu Items!
On our visit, three entrees comprised the menu and you can read our full review of each of them here!!
Nachos Rio Grande Challenge at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe (Retired)
Though the Nachos Rio Grande Challenge at Magic Kingdom’s Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe is no longer offered, you should still check out our review of this INSANE (and meant to be shared) pile of Nachos with ALL the fixin’s, complete with drinks, VIP seating, a special ceremony to ring in the Challenge, and more!
To get the Nachos Rio Grande, you had to arrive between 3 and 6PM at Pecos Bill in Frontierland and let a cast member know you wanted to order the Secret Nachos.
The whole restaurant started buzzing with excitement! The Nachos served 6-8 people — or MORE (to the tune of $90) — and the order brought with it a whole “VIP experience” at Pecos Bill’s.
You can see the whole thing in action right here!
Seasonal and Holiday Items (Retired… for now)
Over the 2017 Holiday season, Disney released a special menu of limited time holiday goodies at Counter Service locations all over Disney World parks. The secret?
You couldn’t find these items on the regular menus (at first; it should be noted that all of these items did become available by regular ordering means). These “secrets” were revealed by utilizing the Mobile Order function (by which guests can preorder and prepay for food, eliminating time in the ordering lines) available via the My Disney Experience app.
Read all about Mobile Order here!
And check out this post to see all the limited time holiday offerings that were available through the app!
Here’s another secret… you can find lots of “off the menu” recommendations (like how to score cranberry sauce at Liberty Tree Tavern) in our DFB Dining Guide!
