is in full swing at Disneyland Resort — and they’ve got the eats to prove it! 😉 We are so ready for this festival of friendship and all of our favorite Pixar pals (not to mention the Fest-worthy treats!).
Today we’re bringing you a fun churro option — one of many churros available during Pixar Fest! The Carrot Cake Churro is located at the churro cart across from the Haunted Mansion — so scare up one of these ASAP!
These are basically traditional churros dusted in Bright Orange Cinnamon Sugar (not flavored beyond traditional cinnamon that we could tell) and served with Raisin-Carrot Cream Cheese Frosting.
If anyone’s looking for a summer solstice gift for the DFB crew we have an idea: massive pan of Bright Orange Cinnamon Sugar.
The churros were perfectly fried, per Disneyland usual! And that orange sugar sure left some residue on our fingers when we were done.
But Raisin-Carrot Cream Cheese Frosting? Yeeeeesssss, please!
You had us at Cream Cheese Frosting. So while there’s not exactly a lot of traditional ‘carrot cake’ going on here, between the cinnamon, the raisins, and the cream cheese, it’s hitting all kinds of carrot cake notes. (And don’t worry, raisin-averse readers: they’re easy to eat around!)
The churro trend is one we’re not ashamed to embrace in all of its fried dough goodness!

Hmmm. I wonder if they’d just give me a big ol’ cup of cream cheese frosting… >.>
