Greetings from New Orleans Square in Disneyland, where we’re celebrating Pixar Fest at Cafe Orleans!
So far, we’ve shown you all sorts of snack and Counter Service goodies themed to the Pixar celebration which spans both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. But today, we’re bringing you to this beloved Table Service restaurant currently serving — among their already-famous dishes — a 3-course Prix Fixe menu created specifically for the Fest.

There are treats (and even entire restaurants) in the parks representing Pixar films such as Toy Story, Up, Monsters, Inc., Coco, and more… but the Pixar film that inspires this special menu is from a movie very close to all of our culinary hearts: Ratatouille!
Though we’re focusing on the specialty menu for Pixar Fest, you should take a look around to find out why Cafe Orleans is such a special place no matter when you visit.
The three-course prix fixe meal is priced at $40 per guest.
It begins with a Specialty Cheese Flight comprised of raw cow’s milk cheese (Fourme D’ Ambert), a mild goat cheese (Bucheron), and hard sheep’s milk cheese (P’tit Basque) all served with dried fruit and honeycomb.
Crispy bread rounds out the plate, and the lovely cheeses really do add an element of elegance to what is typically a more casual dining spot. The Fourme D’Ambert is an especially nice selection as a blue cheese without the typical strength of that flavor.
Now, I was ALL IN to try the specialty menu… but, let’s be honest! Cafe Orleans is best known for its steady hits, and among those are the Pommes Frites: parmesan garlic and parsley fries served with Cajun Spice Remoulade. So, I ordered up some of those, too, as an additional appetizer.
Can ya blame me 😉 ? I don’t think I could ever call it a meal at Cafe Orleans without these. And remember — that berry compote doesn’t come with the fries regularly, but I always order it as an extra.
But, back to the Pixar menu! Because there’s no way to celebrate Ratatouille without the chosen entree, which is none other than Remy’s signature dish! Cafe Orleans has created a Shrimp Ratatouille Byaldi layered with roasted zucchini, yellow squash, eggplant, and tomato.
Can’t you just imagine Remy swirling around the plate to spoon the sauce just so 🙂 ? The delicate, paper-thin vegetables combine with the seasoned shrimp to make a really lovely, grown-up dish within an otherwise whimsical, playful occasion. The food at Pixar Fest isn’t all character-shaped — it really does seem to offer something for everyone! Plus, diving into Remy’s signature dish just feels… well, pretty cool.
Of course, you can’t end any meal at Cafe Orleans without Beignets, and even a themed menu makes no exception. But, of course, a twist to the dish delivers some Pixar fun combined with Remy-inspired elegance: these are Berry-stuffed Beignets a la Mode.
Typically, I’d find ice cream topping my Beignets to be great as is, but mascarpone and a sweet Brie drizzle make this dish a definite highlight of the meal.
The berry filling inside each Beignet combined with the ice cream gives the whole thing a beignet-meets-cobbler vibe that works really well!
For those who aren’t so much into Fruity Pebbles Funnel Cake Fries, Alien Macarons, or Churros in every color of the rainbow — or even for those who are! — the Ratatouille-inspired specialty menu at Cafe Orleans offers a chance for more refined palettes to participate fully in all the themed-food fun at Pixar Fest!

This meal looks wonderful. I love both shrimp and all of those veggies, and the dessert looks delicious, also!

We had this last week and it was delicious! The sauce on the main was particularly impressive. It’s a great temp addition to their menu!
