This batch of news is specific to Disney Visa Cardholders who can book the 2018 Disney World Free Dining Offer now for arrival dates starting on August 2nd. (Arrival dates for general public begin August 20th.)
So, for Disney Visa Cardholders, eligible arrival dates to book Free Dining are as follows:
- August 2 – August 19, 2018
- August 20 – September 19, 2018 (Please note that the Cardmember date for September ends earlier than for the general public.)
- November 24 – November 27, 2018
- December 7 – December 23, 2018
A Disney Visa Cardmember must stay in the reserved room, and guests must use a valid Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards Redemption card to pay the deposit.
Except where noted above, other details as released this morning remain the same for Disney Visa Cardholders (including that the offer must be booked by July 7th).

Wondering how to book? I haven’t received an email notification as a cardholder and do not see anything on the Disney Visa site.
Is it possible to book the package and pay the deposit using a Disney Visa, but pay the balance using another card?
Carrie, you just need to indicate that you’re a Disney Visa Cardholder when you call to make the reservation, then use the card to pay the deposit on your package.
Jennifer, the Free Dining info specifies using the Disney Visa to pay the deposit, so it appears so!

Joann, to receive the free Disney Dining Plan, guests have to book a vacation package that includes a room and tickets. So DVC members can not book free dining.
I’m a Disney card visa holder. Is it too late to book for the free dining promo? If yes, when are the next release dates?
Kimmi, you could call reservations and ask. I’d guess the rooms have all been snatched up, but it can’t hurt to ask! As for the next free dining: this year’s was announced in April, so we might expect a similar timeframe for 2019.
