The beautiful Japan Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is currently home to two Table Service restaurants: Tokyo Dining and Teppan Edo (which we visited again just recently).
But in the future, it will be home to three Table Service locations, as Disney has announced that a Signature Dining experience “inspired by the natural beauty of Japan” is on the way to the Pavilion!
It will also reflect nature’s relationship to Japanese craftsmanship, with the setting also inspired by takumi (which means “artisan” in Japanese).
Mitsukoshi USA will operate the new restaurant (as it currently runs the Pavilion’s merchandise, Table Service restaurants, and kiosks).
The name — as well as an opening timeframe — has yet to be announced. But we’ll be looking forward to hearing — and sharing! — more details as they come!

Rumor is that the restaurant will be on the first floor of the Mitsukoshi department store.

Well,,,,don’t screw up the store! I spend a lot of time in that store watching the pearl openings…and have many jewelry pieces from there.
