Jonathan says
I can tell you that May 2018 after some renovations in French Quarter, that the refillable shampoo containers were implemented, I will be able to report on Wilderness Lodge end of Sept.
Susan Easterday says
I understand conservation, but I hate the refillable containers quite honestly. It feels like you are staying at a low end motel. And…I love taking the amenities home to RE-USE. Yes, I take them camping or keep as back-ups when we run out. I donate them to the homeless shelters if I get too many. I also use them at those value motels where we stay on other vacations where we have the refillable containers.
And Disney’s focus would be better spent in programs/support where 65% of the waste actually comes from–China, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand–especially where they have parks. These changes will cost them less money and make everyone feel good at their corporate office, but it make a negligible difference for the real issues, unfortunately.
