After some months of construction walls hiding the pizza window in Epcot’s Italy pavilion we are glad to say the walls are gone and the pizza window is open again!
Thanks to one of our Instagram fans, Todd at Batik Design @batikdesign, for alerting us to the re-opening of this quick-service spot.
Pizza al Taglio is attached to Via Napoli on the left hand side as you approach from the World Showcase Lagoon.
There is a new overlay and name as this was previously referred to as the Via Napoli Pizza Window. It is now called Pizza al Taglio, which in Italian means “Pizza by the Slice” – an appropriate name for this popular location.
Note that this is NOT the same pizza you’ll get inside Via Napoli next door. This is square, thicker-crust pizza than what you’re used to at Via Napoli.
This is a nice upgrade for the pizza window, and there’s even some space set aside for stand-up eating.
The menu includes a House Special of Pizza San Gennaro, Traditional offerings of Pepperoni or Margherita pizzas, and Mini Cannoli.
To drink you can choose from Red, White, or Sparkling Wines, a section of Beers, plus Cocktails such as a Limoncello Mule or Bellini. Frozen Wild Blueberry slush is available as a non-alcoholic option along with soda and water.
NOTE: Even though the Disney Dining Plan snack credit emblem is next to all of the alcohol, beer and wine are not considered a snack credit according to the cast members at the location. On the Disney Dining Plan, a slice of pizza and a beverage (including alcoholic beverages) are a quick-service credit.
Between the re-opening Norway’s Kringla Bakeri og Kafe and this Pizza Window we don’t know where to go first!

Dave says
Limoncello Mule for $18, what da…..You would have to be a Mule aka to spend that at a pickup window, cmon!
Rachel says
Are those beer and wine SNACK credits?
amanda says
Unless you’re on the Dining Plan Dave!!
Robert says
The menu doesn’t match the pizza pictured. Where is the pizza that is pictured with arugula and prosciutto?
Molly says
What’s with all the DDP symbols? That usually means snack eligible, but some of the wines and beers have it. Does it just indicate what you can use a QS credit on?
Laura says
Devastated to learn it’s not the same pizza as Via Napoli. I was hoping to grab a slice in between Food and Wine booths!
Dave says
I hear ya Amanda but there is no ddp symbol next to it, so you want it, your gonna have to pony/mule up $18! Usually the alcoholic drinks on the meal plans are limited to around the $11 mark, similar to the snacks maxing out around $7.
Michelle says
I love pizza, but not sure about this though. Glad it’s back open, just disappointed it’s not the same… and no more meatballs *sniffle….
Anna says
The DDP logo next to the stuff is super confusing. I wish there were more clarity – so is a slice of pizza by itself a snack credit? Is it a meal if you pair it with alcohol? Is only the alcohol with the logo by it allowed with the meal credit?
Kevin says
It’s actually a good thing that this is a different style of pizza. Pizza al taglio was invented in Rome and is a counter service pizza so it should work and taste better. This is so cool that we get 2 different Italian pizza styles instead of the same style at both places.
DFB Sarah says
Anna, a slice of pizza and a beverage is a quick service meal credit. We would expect that includes the alcohol with the logo (but not the more expensive glasses of wine and cocktails that don’t have the logo).
DFB Sarah says
For those wondering about the snack credit symbols beside the drinks: those are drinks included in a quick service credit with a slice of pizza.
DFB Sarah says
Rachel, we wish! Haha!
Andria says
Is the pizza a snack credit?
DFB Sarah says
Andria, a slice of pizza is a snack credit!
Denise says
They limit alcoholic beverages on the DDP to those that are under $12. AKA only beer and wine here!
Leslie says
Is this still at Epcot? I cannot find it on the Disney website. Thanks!
DFB Sarah says
Leslie, it is! We have not seen an online menu/page for the walk-up window, but when we were in Epcot on Friday, it was open!
Al Pezzi says
You need to date your items. The pizza window is NOT open. It has been closed. Check it out. 2/07/2019.
DFB Sarah says
Al, thanks for your suggestions! The posts are actually dated in the URL, the pizza window is seasonal, and we’ve got the closure in our most recent What’s New at Epcot (dropping today). Have a great day!
