HOORAY!! Centertown Market at Caribbean Beach Resort is finally open!!
Guests at Caribbean Beach Resort can at last enjoy the re-imagined Centertown Market as the Resort’s Quick Service location grab-and-go options.

And it’s been a long time coming. The lengthy refurbishment of Caribbean Beach Resort has spanned the hotel’s property, and has happily resulted in a new table service option, Sebastian’s Bistro, and entirely revamped Banana Cabana (along with refurbishments to the Resort outside of dining). And though temporary dining options were put into place, the absence of a central Counter Service option for the Resort’s guests felt like the biggest missing piece during the refurb.
But that’s all over now that Centertown Market is welcoming guests again!
Atmosphere
Centertown Market has been expanded with the goal of providing an “indoor street market vibe.”
And you can perceive the changes immediately upon stepping inside. Check out this “bringing the outside in” thatched umbrella-esque ceiling set with colorful glass light fixtures.
The resort’s signature Caribbean-style shutters are featured around the space.
The visual centerpiece of Centertown is a hand-painted mural inspired by the colors, music, and feel of a Caribbean festival. It’s right above the beverage bay.
There are two service styles, in keeping with the typical Resort Quick Service setup: counter ordering paired with grab-’n-go.
We’ll explore the counter service in the “eats” portion of this post, but a quick look at the grab-’n-go selections reveal staples such as bottled beverages, allergy-friendly pre-packaged snacks, Mickey Ice Cream Bars, Halo Top Ice Cream, a selection of baked goods, cereal, and snacks, and Resort Refillable Mugs.
Note that, as of today, lunch is only available at grab and go, with a few hot offerings available like pizza and sandwiches. But we’ll let you know if that changes!
There is an assortment of allergy-friendly and pre-packaged snacks as well as wine!
Specialty coffee is also available from a coffee station.
Abundant seating is available with lots of fun Caribbean and beachy colors. Accents from shutters and tiled floors add to the decor.
We like the palm tree look on the posts!
There’s even some outdoor seating.
Check out these lights – fun and colorful! A perfect match to the vibe of the resort.
Eats
In keeping with the feel of Caribbean Beach Resort, the menu offerings for counter ordering at Centertown Market are inspired by Latin and Caribbean flavors! But you’ll find plenty of Disney counter service classics as well.
We were there for Breakfast – stay tuned as we update this post with Dinner options. (Remember, as mentioned earlier, the current lunch options are Sebastian’s Bistro, Banana Cabana, and the Grab and Go location in Centertown Market, though we’ll be keeping you posted on any changes.) And stay tuned for our full reviews, too!
Differing from the past, ordering and payment takes place at one location.
A highlight among the new options are customizable Island Bowls. The guest’s choice of base, protein, and sauce in breakfast as well as lunch and dinner varieties are served in a style reminiscent of the customizable bowls at Satu’li Canteen.
Centertown is also home to the Coca-Cola Freestyle Soda Machines that are popping up in resort remodels.
During Breakfast you’ll pick up your food from pick up windows when your buzzer goes off. At dinner you’ll receive a pager/tracker and place that on your table, and your meal will be delivered to you — similar to the breakfast/lunch experience at Be Our Guest Restaurant and other counter service locations around WDW.
And Centertown Market even offers Mobile Order, which allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for food and pick it up at this window!
Overall
The remodel did not lose any of the Caribbean vibe or feeling to this area, but it did bring the space into this century. There are Island accents all over, which is one of our favorite things about this resort! But the colors are more muted and the atmosphere is a little more refined, to be sure.
They have also incorporated the Resort check-in and concierge into this location, which makes a HUGE difference compared to having check-in and concierge in an entirely separate — not really even accessible by walking — building. The Calypso Market is still here as well, and we’ll have a first look of that location later today! Having everything together just adds to the convenience factor.
Keep watching our posts as we update these throughout the day with more menus, photos, and reviews from Caribbean Beach Resort’s newest restaurants and bars!

Oh my gosh! Plant-based sausage AND plant-based scramble on the bowls. That’s worth a trip over from another resort in and of itself (though I was never a fan of scrambled eggs pre-vegan).
At the risk of sounding greedy, would be awesome if you could get some veggies in that instead of the egg – spinach, onions, peppers, mushroom. Swooning just thinking of it.
Stefanie says
The remodel looks great. We missed it by 1 1/2 weeks. No Mickey waffles???
DFB Sarah says
Stefanie, looks like just kids’ Pirate Waffles and Coconut Waffles. But things are subject to change!
DFB Sarah says
Caryn, that’s worth asking! And it does sound awesome. (LOVE vegan sausage!)
Essie says
I loved this place, but not too sure about this new one.
Joseph merchant says
Will the wonderful steel drum band be playing there ona regular basis ?
DFB Sarah says
Joseph, sounds like we’ll have to wait-and-see. A cast member mentioned that they’re expected to come back, but there isn’t a schedule.
Mike says
I was expecting a Food Court like Pop & A of Animation!
What Gives???
Grab and go sandwiches ???
Jane says
I was so excited to try breakfast today, but when we arrived at 10:50, we were told it would take at least 45 minutes to get food!!!!! Not a great way to end our stay at Caribbean Beach!
