That was fast!
It was just last week we updated you on the status of what we could see of the construction going on at Hollywood Studios’ Chinese Theater as it becomes home to a new ride! Now, just four short days later, the construction walls are down around the Chinese Theater!

In 2019 the Chinese Theater will be home to a brand new ride, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. We don’t know an exact opening date yet, just sometime in 2019.
So what’s different on the Theater?

We can see some of the more decorative items have been removed including the gold figure seen below above the doors. We can also see the signs on the door read they are “Imagineering Something New”.

We are excited to see these walls come down since the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party is usually held in this area and we anticipate it being there again this year!
The Show is Underway
And, that’s not all! Flurry of Fun starts in Hollywood Studios this week! That means yummy treats, a decorated Toy Story Land and festive Woody and Buzz, the Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam show, plus SNOW in Florida!
