provides quick service eats at Animal Kingdom, with choices ranging from Counter Service classics to items you can only enjoy at The Mara.

And if you’re starting your day there, then you may want to know that Red and White Sangria as well as Mimosas and Bloody Marys can now be ordered during breakfast hours!

You can now have Mickey or Simba topping your cup of select coffee beverages in your choice of cinnamon or cocoa!

And just a note that the Breakfast Flatbread has been removed from the morning menu.

Moving on throughout the day, a Hand Carved Turkey and Avocado Club Sandwich has — for now — replaced the Chef’s Choice Hand Carved Sandwich. And the Crispy Chicken BLT is now just a Crispy Chicken and Bacon Sandwich.

Still… BACON! And while the Vegetarian Falafel Entree tends to change with some frequency at The Mara, currently it’s Vegetarian Falafel Bites. (The Chef’s Choice Hot Dog has been removed.)
And for dessert?

You don’t have to wait for lunch or dinner to start! These animal-inspired offerings are typically available as early as 10 AM.

One of the best things about visiting Animal Kingdom Lodge is all of the unique Resort activities for guests!

Two of the more recent additions to enjoy at Animal Kingdom Lodge allow you to channel your inner artist: Wild About Painting, and a Disney Animation Class. Wild About Painting takes place on Sundays and Wednesdays from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on the terrace balcony where you can “paint a Disney masterpiece” while sipping a complimentary drink ($50 per guest). The Disney Animation Class ($20) takes place on Mondays in Simba’s Activity Center.

And other activities inside Simba’s Activity Center include African Jewelry, Ceramics, and the daily Disney Design Class.
